The Wings.... (ACCEPTING)

I looked up at the sky, still panting heavily. The water licked at my bare feet and the sun shone on my chocolate brown hair, warming my ears.

~Dexter~
"Hey Duce! Are we staying here then?" I call over to her staying underneath the tree.

Duce
"Were leaving soon, luv!" I answered back.

I'm listening to Sally's song right now.. I'm just hooked.))

~Dexter~
"Oh alright!" I say and find a piece of broken mirror on the floor. What is staing back at me is my reflection but with eyes that shine golden. I blink and it disappears. I place the shard in my pack not wanting anyone to step on it.

Duce
I sat up and inched into the water. I dove under and opened my eyes looking around a bit before coming back up for air. I gulped in a lung full and went back under, going down a bit deeper.

~Dexter~
"Fade!? Aviator!? You ready!?" I call as I walk into the boat house, this place was giving me bad vibes and I wanted out.

"I've always been ready." I replied, all my stuff by the door and in my backpack:

Duce
I came back to the surface and swam out of the water. I went back to the boat house to take a quick shower and then we'd be off.

"Oh okay! We just have to wait for the others" I say and move my wing trying to see if it would be able to carry my weight.

Duce
I come up behind Dexter and hold his wing still. "Don't move it." I whispered. "Fade, fix his wing please."
