If any of the infected get INSIDE of you, you become infected. This is by the swapping of saliva, being bitten, or getting their blood inside of you by either an open wound or ingesting it. If a cat is infected but has not died and turned, they aren't technically contagious yet. So no--she wouldn't be infected that way. She'd have to have had contact with the cat AFTER they died and turned. Maybe Aspenpaw goes into the nursery after they've turned and attack the kittens? Then, just in time, Bristle or someone else comes and saves them, but Breeze is bitten. No one but Warrex knows that THAT is how the infection is passed.

OOC; yeah that's fine. ^^ poor babies will be terrified and I think maybe Thrushfur would have been hunting, maybe meet your loner in the meantime, come back to five or six terrified kittens, depending on who makes the two available kits.

Aspenpaw left camp, stewing inside. He was just an "average" apprentice. He was technically 12 moons now, and he longed to be a warrior. The brown tom growled softly, deciding to sleep off his anger before he hurt someone or something. The Tom found an old tree trunk and curled up inside for a nap.

"That's the issue presented." Warrex continued on. "Nothing you can do, you become one and, well, that's it. You're done for." Warrex knew a little about clan life, he wasn't quite sure where the Leader was so he continued on. "Your Leader, not so sure about them, they have a lot of lives so... that'd be more of a chance-taker."

Fawnkit folded her ears and looked back at a scared looking Breezekit who say next to Thrushfur. Their mom looked shaky and uncertain, but quietly she beckoned the kids closer.

Bristlepelt gritted his teeth. His concern about this was growing. This seamed like a real problem now. "No, we have to be able to stop it! We cant just some infection pick us off one by one," he meowed wishing Warrex's response would include some kind of antidote to the sickness although he knew that there was nothing like that. He winced at the thought of his mother being bitten. Hopefully Warrex was onto something and the infection would only take away one life.

"Destroy their head, their brain." He mewed to him, that was the only solution, he had seen it. Watching movies with his old owner, watching their 'television' as they presented it, through windows. He knew the solution. "Destroy the head and you destroy the zombie, but..." His bright blue eyes grew troublesome. "You destroy the cat too, they can't come back." Warrex added on. "For your Leader I suggest if she's infected let it continue on until it's settled in, maybe you won't have to put her down." He mewed. "By the way you look you have a connection with her? Don't let that get in the way."
