"Spider"

Spider was behind the refreshment bar rummaging through the box of fruits. He heard one of the chairs scrape against the floor and heard someone sit down. Curious, he stopped his rummaging to climb onto the equipment table and peeked over the top of the bar. A fluffy creature sat there. Spider didn't react in any way but to keep on staring at the fluff.

Berry laughed. "Tell me about it ! My berries are probably gonna explode !" She sipped her raspberry ice tea and gazed around. "I think there is a party tonight? Would you like to go?"

Luna had receded to the shadow of an umbrella, and laid back in the chair and listened as the waves gentle lapped at the sides of the boat. I guess this isn't so bad...

Melody reached the door to her room. She inserted the key and was treated to a large room with sunlight streaming into the room. She walked inside and closed the door behind her. The flight had been restless and now she had time to relax. She threw her bag on the ground and drowned into her bed. Within a few seconds she was asleep as she began her cruise.

Kuro, not paying any attention to her surroundings, nearly jumped out of her fur when she looked up. A odd... fluffy creature was looking at her. Only, they didn't have a face. Only a jar for a head. The jar had a few cracks and the fluffy thing seemed to be stiched together, in mild awe and slightly creeped out, she finally spoke.
"Um... hi?"

"Mallory"

Mal giggled, "I doubt we're the only ones with too-much-sun problems." Her face brightened up when she heard the word "party". "Oh cool! I'll definitely be there. I'd love to see who the others are." She hesitated slightly before asking shyly, "Would you like to go with me? Luna too of course." She glanced at Luna chilling in the shade.

"Spider"

Spider didn't say anything. There were no visible signs of eyes or mouth. He gently hit his jar against the edge of the bar to create a clinking sound. Then he quickly slipped away from view. A few rummaging sounds could be heard before he popped up again. This time he climbed all the way on top of the bar. Since his size was small, he could comfortably sit on the bar. Scooting over until he was directly in front of the fluff, he gently placed a banana in front of her.

Kuro, after deciding it was a male to her, tilted her head as the jar head placed a banana in front of her. She figured he was giving this to her, probably for the bar or something. Gently picking it up, she stared curiously at the jar, before plucking a pocky stick off her tail fluff. She offered it to the little jar head, smiling.
"Err.. Thank you for the banana. Would you like this?"

Berry's faced lightened up. "Of course we'll go with you !! I remember the first time I went to a party and was nervous... But don't worry, it'll be a lot of fun !! We'll finally get to meet the others on this cruise." She smiled.

Luna nodded her head. "I'd love to go, of course !"

A few hours later, Melody awoke from her nap and rubbed her eyes. She fixed herself up before leaving her room. In the hallway it was quite but you could hear the sounds of the ocean from the windows. She made her way to the deck and saw a lot of the passengers milling around, talking with others. She said close the edge as she made her way around to the food bar. Maybe she'll meet someone...

"Spider"

Spider took the stick of pocky and held it close for inspection. Setting it down beside him, he reached up with paws and started unscrewing the lid to his jar. He leaned his jar down against the table and waited until the small spider in the jar climbed out and away. The he took the stick of pocky and placed it in his jar. A perfect fit! The lid was screwed on quickly. He gave his jar a shake, rattling the pocky inside. Spider grabbed what looked to be a dry erase marker and drew a squiggly smile on his jar.

"Mallory"

Mal grinned, "Great! Oh we'll have loads of fun on this cruise!" She trembled with unconstrained excitement. "Hey, I'm going to go to the bar and grab a plate of desserts, you guys want anything?"

She handed it to the man who took her glass and come back with it refilled as well as her card. She saw the sun and with the heat waves it looked as if it was wobbling on it's own.
