i do NOT support rare hoards. i don't have anything against them, but it seems unfair to people when they hoard rare pets.

sorry if this seems really out of the blue, but this needed to be stated.

Lol, uhm, okay. Sorry I work my butt off for my hoard.
Kyar and Ethulai, who hoard list pets, also work their buts off.
Both have 150+ and I have 6.
So, you say it's unfair to other people that we're hoarding?

Do you know how much effort goes into this?
I worked my butt off for 5/6, and #5 was a gift from a kind person,
WHO TRADED FOR IT.

This may be a bit nitpicky, but...

When people post on the swaps threads- any swap threads- and say that they "need" a pet.
Er, no. You want it. "Need" implies that it is essential for something. For example, you can say "I need these pets to complete my collection" or "I need x amount of this pet to complete my hoard". That always kind of annoys me.

Plus, all the demand for the banner pups... it's getting really ridiculous. I'm not even trying to trade for the one that I missed out of the fear that the person I'm trying to trade at will just cancel saying "lol it's not worth so little". I really don't want to give and arm and a leg for this thing. I'm hoping to get it after the demand dies down a bit, but I'm also afraid that it'll turn out to be a rare (like the PPS fox from the Egypt event) and no one will trade it for anything recent.

Argh.

So I sent a trade for a husky banner dog. It was a '14 rare, so I could see if they just wanted to add one more pet to my side or something. (Because they have a lot of demand right now) Instead, they add four rares to my side (Two of them were '09 and one was '10) then added three older uncommons and a random common pet and asked me to pick a few of those for them. So I edit again and add the 2014 rare and an uncommon from 2011 and they cancel. Of course. I think that I'm going to just wait until this event is over and the demand for these banner dogs goes down.

Seriously do I need to put 'no suggestions' in huge, bold, glowing, sparkly, literally impossible to miss letters for people to get the point?

I hate suggestions. I don't edit. And suggestions with no message always make me feel like someone is demanding overpay and hey, I don't know what you want. And if you're sending the trade it isn't my job to look through your pets if you can't be bothered to come up with an offer. I suck at trading. I don't send trades often and don't like editing. I prefer them sent to me because I get anxious sending them myself.

Seriously, I have it written as 2 out of my 5 short rules. NO suggestions. So please, for the love of Naga, stop sending them!

80% of the trades I've received over the last week have been suggestions. So it's not just one instance. What's the point of even having trade rules. No one bothers.
