Roahan Equines

So this is a really old drawing I had planned to make into an adoptable about a year ago. I currently don't have my tablet so the lines will stay a bit wonky until I can fix them. But I figured I go ahead and post to let people see and maybe get a few artists to help me work on the species. I'll work on more details and getting things prettied up later.

Customs!

To get a custom you must read through the breed information and then fill out the form below. All customs must have some type of primitive marking. You may not have more than one custom, and only five slot are available. These are free!

Breed Information

This is a gaited breed, that originated in the deserts of the middle east and northern Africa. They have a very fine coat and naturally have no mane and a very thin tail. All of this is to keep them cool in the heat of the desert. There is no difference between the males and females of the breed. They come in all colors variations that are normally found in horses except for appaloosa markings. They range from 15 hands high up to around 17 hands of height. They are ridden in very basic tack generally a blanket on the back which can be very simple and plain or very decorated and elaborate depending on the owners social status. There is a fairly large population of wild roahans as well.
!NEW! There is a new breed standard, this breed is almost always seen with some type of primitive marking. This is most commonly seen as leg stripes but can be any of the classic primitive markings. This means that from now on all RE's will have these markings unless I approve. The primitive markings are slightly different than you find in other breeds though. The markings can be either lighter or darker than the base coat they are on. They can also extend much farther than on other breeds, meaning you may see leg stripes that cover the whole leg or shoulder stripes that extend most of the way down the back or up the neck. That makes the few original horses very rare and very valuable as the non-primitive markings may be passed down to offspring. If you adopt one of the original horses and would like the design on the new lines just pm and I will re-do the design, except for the Halloween horse.

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Welcome to the team! Like I said in the description this is still a pretty big work in progress but you can go ahead and post a few adoptables if you want.

They're lovely, I'm not too worried about making really detailed ones at this point. I just want to get some up for adoption especially since I'm so limited on what I can do with out my tablet.

Awesome, thank you! I got my tablet back up and running so I'll be messing with the lines and adding a bunch of thing over the next week or so.
