I'm so happy that they raised the limit! I was kinda worried, since with all the boxes and stuff that might not give you the pet/item you need, it can eat away at your tokens pretty quickly. Not to mention that they usually only raise the limit by 50 each time, so it's not like there's that much "advantage" to it, if that's what people are worried about. I've noticed that in most event they usually wind up raising it to like 300 at the max of the event. I think I've only ever seen one event where they raised it to 350. c:

Can someone please tell me why people are now complaining about the banner limit being raised? It's great that you haven't used up all your tokens, but other people (me) have when trying to get certain outcomes (mainly items for me) and the limit being raised does not affect you in any way shape or form, it just offers relief to the people (me again) who had hit it and were stressing because they didn't have many tokens left. Seriously, just be happy for the people who can now get the tokens they need. /endrant

It affects me if all the pets become common...there's a reason for a limit.

Well, not everyone spend their tokens on the items, I prefer the pets, so if I had to spend my tokens, I would do it on the pets.
And in matter of fact, it actually affects the rarity, they just posted a long text about it a few pages ago.

... Theres a limit for every event and as soon as some one hits the limit, it's always posted on the first page of the discussion thread... O.o

Is there? Welp. Haha, we just came back from a lil over a year's worth of inactivity, before a limit was placed I think, so this is all new to us.

As Atwood explained, there are other reasons for a limit. Sure, the limit is 300 now, but it's already been raised twice. I understand that the banner is tricky this year (those banner pups are tough to find, huh?) but there is still a reason for a limit. Perhaps I was blunt in my previous response, but I was trying to explain one of the reasons for it. Another reason (as Atwood explained) is to give newbies a chance at some rares/very rares that people are willing to pay for tokens. There were a few other reasons, I believe. Anyways, it wasn't meant to be a personal attack on anyone, just an explanation.
