"Nah, I don't mind, at all," Luke replied with a small shrug. He bit his lip and smiled a little when Nikki looked into his eyes. She really does have beautiful eyes, he thought to himself before quickly glancing down for a moment. Luke, stop it, you don't even know her, yet! Slow down...he scolded himself in his mind. He also wasn't quite sure about getting into another relationship - not quite yet, anyway. His last relationship hadn't been the greatest experience, and so he was hesitant about dating, again. He quickly pushed all of these thoughts to the back of his mind as he looked over at her, again. "Ah, well, lead the way, then," he said with a small smirk.

"A pleasure to meet you then, Carter," Wisteria winked, hiding one of her hazy green eyes for a brief moment. "I'm Wisteria Rey... or just Wist or Wisty. Honestly, whatever's fine with me," she shrugged lightly. Wisty reached out a took a sip of her iced coffee before setting it down again on the neatly placed napkin. "It's not every day I have someone want to just come and sit with me. Much less a stranger," her face was somewhat serious besides the warm smile, but her voice acquired a playful tone, curious about this 'Carter' that had picked her table rather than one of the others in the café.

Dressed in a comfy black hoodie, jeans, and casual gray converse, Joshua made his way down the quiet sidewalk with his hands in his front hoodie's pocket. His dirty blonde hair was a bit ruffled, giving him a bit of a rebellious look. Scanning the street, he saw a few people around, but unlike them, he was alone. Josh watched the cracks in the sidewalk pass. He didn't have a location in mind, he just wanted to get away from home... At home, he was rather alone already. His aunt and uncle paid little attention to him, and when they did, it was usually at one of their elegant parties where everyone wore fancy clothing, including Josh, and had fake smiles plastered to their powdered faces. Being out didn't make much of a difference, but seeing others be happy was a change of scenery. He rarely saw his aunt and uncle anyway. Letting out a small puff of breath, he realized that he craved some form of companionship. After losing his ability to play football, it had seemed that Josh faded from the scene, not being important anymore. It was like everybody viewed Josh as just a football player without any real value or character to him.

He stuck his tongue out a bit playfully before taking a sip from his drink. He nodded his head towards the book she had as he swallowed what was in his mouth. "What book are you reading?"

So that's the kind of game he plays... Wisty thought to herself as Carter spoke. The type of personalities she was attracted to were usually the rebellious, the bold, and the bad... He seemed to be heading down the right path, but small talk wouldn't win the hard-shelled Wisteria Rey over. She had met too many guys with similar first impression attitudes to fall for it.
At his question, her smile quirked into a bit of an embarrassed grin, "If I tell you," she slowly replied, letting her words fall delicately and lightly, "then I don't know if I'll still have your company. It's a bit of an oldie."
Cocking an eyebrow slightly up, she studied his handsome face with curiosity and interest. There was always more to a person than what they gave off. What did Carter hold behind that winning smile and playful nature?

The chill that seeped through Alicia's room seemed to pull her from her music, taking out her ear buds as a curious look took over her face. "Dad..?" She called.
"Yeah?"
"Did you leave the door open?"
"Maybe..."
With that, Alicia sprinted downstairs, running out the house to see her puppy Finn already halfway down the street. "Finn!" She sighed, running after the white bundle of fur. Luckily, Alicia was fast but as Finn made a turn, she lost sight of him. "No, no, no!" She said frantically, swinging her body around the bend and after the mischievous escape artist. Alicia had no time to throw on a coat or shoes and ran in her socks, the 'Fall Out Boy' T-shirt not keeping her warm either. Her mind was dead set on getting her dog before it ran on the streets and possibly get hit. "Finn, this isn't fair! You had a head start." She whined, hoping the dog would magically learn the ways of human speech and listen as she was now jogging around another bend, trying to keep track of the speedy dog.

Lyndley stopped playing and looked down at Polar, the little dog being fast asleep. She giggled, hooking her guitar around her back before scooping up her little dog, cooper following behind. She laughed as she walked along the sidewalk, hearing the faint snores of her pup.

Damion smiled "That's a very pretty name." he said, chuckling a bit before looking around. He smelled the faint scent of strawberry through the strong scent of candy in the shop. He turned back to Cassidy, "What's your favorite candy?" he asked, trying not to sound to stupid. He smiled and looked down, trying to find out why he's so childish.

Carter couldn't help but smirk at her embarrassment, he found it cute. "Just tell me, I've read a few oldies before" he said shrugging before taking a bite of his muffin. Wist was a cute girl and so far seemed to be his type, but he had this feeling that she was observing and judging everything he was saying and doing. Most people seem to do that and because of how observant he is he can easily pick up on it, most of the time.
