Shifting his cranium towards the mare in the next pasture, he smiled and whinnied "Thanks." Feeling her nudge, the stallion smirked but held it back. Flicking his banner, he looked at the mare with his obscured eye than back on the ground.

BLAKE :: ARMANI
Armani stretched out as he soared over the jump, landing with a quiet thud on the other side. As her stallion whinnied, Blake smiled and turned him toward a simple vertical. The dun akhal teke took a powerful stride before popping himself into the air, scaling the jump with ease. Armani gave a few happy bucks as he was turned to another vertical. Blake felt the stallion stutter just before the jump, causing him to tick one of the poles, "It's alright, bud," She murmured softly and patted his shoulder as they turned toward the mud jump. The one that she'd seen the guy and his mare jump.

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Ash
with: Blake, Armani, pandora
Ash tugs Pandora's reins to a halt. "Thats enough for today girl" "I think we will be ready in time for the competition." He smiled and gave Pandora a sugar cube. He turned toward Blake who was doing the mud jump and yelled "good luck!" and shaked his head. He waited and watched.

BLAKE :: ARMANI
Armani gave a grunt of effort as he gave a powerful take-off, feeling his rider's hands slide up his neck and twine her fingers into his black mane. Blake closed her green eyes and relied on touch to tell her when to sit strait up again. Only after her stallion had cleared the jump and taken a few canter strides did she openher eyes again. "Good boy," Blake leaned forward to scratch between his ears. Armani snorted softly and slowed to a walk, deciding to take a small break for a moment. They walked by the guy and his horse and Blake tipped her head to him again, "Thanks," She smiled and brushed a colorful strand of curly hair back off her shoulder. Armani stopped and stuck his nose out toward the mare, nickering softly in welcome and blowing hot air onto her muzzle in greeting.

BLAKE :: ARMANI
Blake opened her mouth to introduce herself to Ash but he had already turned and was walking away. Oh well.. Armani instantly danced forward once more when he felt Blake's legs tighten around his sides. He collected beautifully, dropping his nose to his knees as he headed for a vertical at a slow, powerful canter. This was the vertical he had stumbled on last time, but this time, Blake felt him put a little extra effort into it, and they popped over the jump with inches to spare. Armani then turned when asked to where there was a triple combo, with one stride between each jump. The dun stallion snorted with excitement and leapt over the first jump, then the secod and then the third, after which Blake praised him with a pat.

Beau "Bleu"
I lead Shad to her stall. She flicked her tail and pricked her ears up. I gave her a pat on the nose. "You're a good girl." I gave her a hug and then left the stall and closed it so she couldn't get out. I tossed her some hay that she gladly took and began eating happily.
Ace "Banner"
I lead Dewey to a stall next to my sister's horse. She tossed her head when she was in it and explored her stall. I gave her a little bit of hay and then left her stall and shut it. I looked over at Beau. "Bleu." I said she was wearing her favorite red and white striped sweater and red skinny jeans. I walked closer to her and poked her in the shoulder. "I found Waldo." I said proudly before slipping into Shad's stall to avoid my twin's crazy wrath.
