Here is CTD #34, based off the Peacock Spider, one of the most godly creatures known to mankind.

his name is "pou" {pronounced 'pow'"}, meaning "peacock" in some other language i don't know. i wanted to come up with something that represents his uniqueness, which, being based off of a peacock spider obviously makes him unique. i also wanted to think of something short and sweet, not too complicated but with enough meaning.

his colors seem to be a bit too vibrant and dominate to be a female, in my opinion. so, he will be male <3

i just happened to be scrolling through the "competitions" section of the oekaki, and came across the artist competition for this species. {which i'm thinking about entering!} and i don't have many characters, or any for that matter, but when i saw these little guys i knew i was in love. {too dramatic?} pou caught my eye; his colors are simple yet work so well together. i'm not good at drawing complex designs, which is why i used to hold a lot of art competitions back when i had a few characters, so other people could do that for me. but i feel like i could happily draw pou. his design has the perfect amount of simplicity, complexity and beauty.
i was going to do a story, but i felt as though i should wait until the winner will be announced. i didn't want to make a story and become too attached XD

i find these little guys hilarious, mostly because it looks like they have giant hats.

thanks for the opportunity, and for making such an adorable species!
