LK and I developed the pigeon character a lot more this week. c=
His name is Theodore (Theo/Teddy ♥) and he's a white pigeon.
He wears a scroll case necklace and has one foot from a war injury.
In regards to personality, he is determined, brave, fast-paced and good
at telling jokes, but is very serious when needed. :3 ♥

I kinda have an idea based on three of my characters

For anyone who is interested in that pigeon character i've been making,
I developed part of his backstory. :<

She was perfectly still. Lying on her back, the beautiful white bird laid with her wings at her sides, looking like an angel. Her last breaths had been taken just minutes ago, her body still warm. Blood, contrasted against her snowy pearl feathers, stained her and the floor a deep red. She had fought valiantly to protect her home and her baby, and in the end, had sacrificed her life.

The sight left her mate frozen. His blood ran cold as he stood, staring down at his deceased wife in disbelief. She couldn't be gone. Not like this. In a frantic bid to revive her, Theo crouched by her side and gently nudged her cheek with his beak, giving a soft coo of hope. When she failed to respond, Theo jumped over to her other side and gently pecked her. He pecked her again, harder this time. His efforts were in vain. The white messenger slowly backed away, a horrified and bewildered expression upon his face. She was gone. No goodbye, no last loving moment, just...Gone.

His frightened amber eyes suddenly searched the room as he remembered something. In the corner rested a small white egg. With tears rolling down his cheeks, the pigeon hurried to scramble over, shivering with fear and shock. He hoped so dearly that the egg would be unharmed, hoped with all his heart, with all he had. But the unborn chick, not even fully formed, could be seen through a crack in the very top. The father cooed and pressed his forehead to the broken egg, as if hoping to hear his unborn child one last time. The baby couldn't be saved now, and her life had been cut brutally short.

Just days ago, Theo had cuddled with his beautiful mate, with their one egg kept warm as they sat together close by. After years of trying for a chick, they had finally succeeded and were expecting a beautiful baby girl. She would have been a white and brown pied chick, with iridescent feathers that would leave pearl shining in her plumage. But now, she would never be brought in to the world.

Finally, the shock subsided, and he succumbed to his tears. Theo's big orange eyes slowly shut, stammering and stuttering as they did. He drew his head away from his baby's egg and turned away, fluffing up his white feathers as he did. It's my fault, he thought. If I had been here sooner...His guilt built up heavier and heavier with every moment he stood by his deceased family, and he knew, deep down in his frantically beating heart, that in risking his life to protect the land, he had lost those he held dearest.

In their passing, a part of him was lost too.
He would never truly be the same.

Basically Theo was a messenger pigeon in war and the enemy killed his wife and egg
while he was away from home. This is where his more serious side comes from, unfortunately.

Aww, thank you! I am quite proud of my Theo. ♥ And I couldn't have made him
without LK either, so if you like Theo, give LK all the loves. =D There's
another part I could write about him where he loses his foot and is
injured in flight because he got himself captured by the enemy on
purpose to gather info. His escape doesn't go too well, as you can
imagine. ^w^;
