Lyra snapped at another dog today.
To be fair the dog was both rude and boisterous and Lyra has had many of unpleasant meetings with him.
This boxer, Alfie, I think his name is? Chased her out of the park once when she was only about 4-5 months, then another time he trampled her when she was on leash walking up a public footpath a few weeks ago.
Today I saw them coming into the park, and there was another dog across the field from us who I know doesn't like dogs, so I clipped her leash on and made my way towards them (in order to exit the park) because Alfie was on leash, therefore he couldn't do anything to Lyra. The man didn't see us (somehow? we were in plain sight) and let his dog off leash, who instantly charged over to Lyra and started shoving her about. I pulled Lyra away and tried to exit the park whilst the guy just stood there calling out the dog's name.
Lyra air-snaps about 5 times before the dog finally buggers off and proceeds to pee all over the play park.
I hate irresponsible dog owners so. freaking. much.
If you see a dog on leash with the person clearly trying to side-step, it's probably a good idea to keep yours leashed too.
Also, Alfie clearly has no manners or recall, either train him or keep him on a long line or something.
just ffffffff.

Pretty awesome site, but I hate browsing the pets there when I can't take on any more, because I end up coming across way too many gorgeous dogs & cats. I then want to take them ALL home lol.
And that's the cutest picture ever Jazi ;-;
Skoll was on petfinder as a courtesy post, but I didn't find him there. Dakonic forwarded me his information on a forum we both visited.
Saffron was not yet listed on my shelter's website, either.
Thank you! I think he's really going to miss her.

Is this a stack picture?

I'm gonna star feeding Precious raw!! Once she finishes her bag of blue buffalo. I've talked to people on here
http://preymodelraw.com/ who have helped me out a lot! They have a page where it gives step by step direction to get started and I'm really excited! So I'm taking a lot more pictures of Precious so I can do a before and after and show how much better she got!
I'll post some pictures of her gross teeth soon, We might bring her to our groomer to get them cleaned (most likely, her teeth are terrible!)

Oh God
I need to stop going on FB
I've just seen someone attempting to sell a twelve week old lurcherxcollie pup for £60 because he "didn't get along with my son". Apparently the poor pup didn't like the kid fussing with him. She couldn't sell him so gave him to Dogs Trust.
Why not try to sort out your kid and tell him to stop, instead of giving away your dog? Not to mention he should still have been with his mother.
