Mara nodded slowly unsure of herself, she smiled slightly as if remembering something happy. "She reminded me of myself as a pup, I wanted to help her any way I could because the feeling of having no one there to care for you can make you feel unwanted" Mara murmured softly. "No pup should feel that way."

Haythem bent his ears back at hearing her words. He walked in silence for quite some time before finally speaking up. "Well im sure what you're trying to do means a lot to Daisy. Just know that now somebody will always have your back. That's what being in a pack means" he said quietly. The brute went quiet once more before finally speaking up again. "Try being the only non shifter in an entire family of shifters." He sighed shaking his head.

Mara chuckled lightly, "I guess we've all had it hard" She said with a nod. "Some of us harder then others, but were all alike is some way or another and that's all that matters" Mara murmured lowering her head. "We are all wolves at heart, most of us mind, body, and soul.. But some of us are different, and that doesn't mean we're not wolves it just means that we have a bit of everything" She smiled lifting her head up. "And that's fine by me."

Haythem nodded his head in reply. Truthfully he had always held a grudge towards shifters due to his childhood. Being made fun of and pushed around by shifters had created a great dislike for them within him. He had learned to tolerate them but still he held the hatred deep down inside. For some reason that he couldn't explain however he didn't feel that way towards Mara. "Yea..." Is all he said while lost in thought.

Mara glanced at Haythem, "Earth to Haythem? You okay there?" She asked watching his expressionless face.

Haythem perked up his ears and looked to Mara his thoughts receding back into the far reaches of his mind. "Yea I'm fine" he said quietly.

~Diego~
Diego trotted along beside Scarlet and lead her to Streaks den. "Streak?" He called sticking his head into the den. No answer came in return. "That's odd. I guess he isn't here" Diego said looking at scarlet.
