I suddenly want to reread Homestuck. THis is probably a terrible idea, because every time I see anyone I'll think about how that character dies. Oh well I probably won't get to Dave today.

There is no way that all really happened. Alternate timeline. Karkat and Dave don't stay dead, and probably neither do Gamzee, Jane, and Jake. Not quite sure about Kanaya, she's probably the next troll to die...

on tumblr i saw something with dave, jade and john; john was floating somewhere, dave was like "hey john stop you're not supposed to be here none of this is supposed to be happening" or something
then they had a conversation and apparently dave mentioned john had probably just started a doomed timeline where they were all going to die. { obviously he was not wrong. }
so i am guessing, yes, it is a doomed timeline.
