15th Century; Germany - Somewhere in the Black Forest.
Deep in the forest, where nobody dares to go, live the six great dragons; Yupanqui Reaper, Copper Nettle, Yellow Winchester, Pascal Widowmaker, Great Grey Royal, and Xenica Longwing. Or at least their eggs live there. The actual dragons were hunted down to extinction, but since the dragons have always been hunted, they learned to hide their eggs especially secretive. And so no one ever discovered the six differently colored eggs. But one day, six ordinary people stumbled across the eggs. The six people had never met one another but they all ended up at the same place.... As though something was calling them. Within the dark shrubbery of the infamous Black Forest, there came a glow with a mixture of colors. The people were stunned and worriedly pushed the shrubbery out of their way so they could uncover what was making the magnificent glow.... And they were astonished with what they found.... Six differently colored eggs; Purple, Copper, Yellow, Blue, Grey, and Green. As they stared upon the eggs, their hands were each drawn to one egg, it didn't matter what one they really wanted.... The eggs were choosing for them.... And now, it's three years later and the eggs have hatched and their products are fully grown. But somehow the dragon hunters found out that the dragons were back... So the dragons and their humans were forced the flee deeper into the forest for safety.... But the hunters won't stop until their dead.

As you should well know, all of the sites rules will be applied here. This is semi literate, so I trust you to be realistic and mature in your posts, i.e no godmodding. I would appreciate at least 6-7 lines a post minimum but certainly feel free to write more. Activity would be greatly appreciated. Post often but without leaving anyone behind or ignoring others. I may establish rules on a page limit later on. You can be any of the characters I have listed. The maximum amount of characters are two, one rider and one dragon. Bare in mind that this is a survival roleplay so death and violence are A-OK.... But don't have the violence be so gorey that it's no longer kid friendly; use time skips/fade outs as necessary. I would like you to make a post that is at least 500 words; but if you can do more, it will be greatly appreciated. I'd love to go on and on about specifics, but I trust that if you're joining you know what is expected of you and just want to get on with it. So we will. Just send me all reservations through PM... And send all forms to me through PM so I can approve it before you post it here.. And please remove your signature everytime you post. OH AND!!!! When you pick a dragon to roleplay, you cannot also roleplay it's rider. So for example if you pick the Yupanqui Reaper, you cannot pick the Leader. I hope that makes some type of sense.

With a length of 15 meters and wingspan of 25 meters,
this dragon is said to be of the middleweight class. She
weighs in at about 13.5 tons. Her coloring is a radiant
mix of all shades of purple, glowing in the sunlight. She
also has one of the shorter snouts out of the group. Her
wings are large and feathered with poisonous barbs on
the tips. Her tongue splits into two with extra fangs all
along the two halves. Her eyes sparkle with small glints
of gold mixed inside the lavender purple of her pupils.

Idonea Vigdis is an open dragon. She tends to get along
with most of the dragons in her group. But she just does
not trust the Yellow Winchester. She doesn't like the tiny
dragon and feels as though he might be hiding something
from her and the rest of her group. Though she does like
the Xenica Longwing, quite a bit, maybe even crushes on
him. She also likes the darling, blue Pascal Widowmaker.

With a height of 2 meters in the metric units and a
weight of 187 pounds in the standard units, Kitch is
one of the taller riders in the group. His good looks
give him an advantage over most of the girls around
him.... Including his dearest dragon, Copper Nettle.
He tends to get lost in his own imagination.. And he
likes to plan everything out... He has a tendency for
being OCD and a perfectionist. But that's who he is.
He will never change. Kitch will always be the same.

Kitch Rockwell is an easy going dreamer who is very
organized. He tends to not get along with anyone...
But he gets along quite fine with The Fearless Flyer.
He actually has a thing for her. Though he hates the
Patient & Steady hunter. He thinks she is too weary.
As for the rest of the riders, he feels mainly neutral
towards them and in fact, he can barely stand them.

Tolouse is metallic white-grey in colour, with an immense wingspan, long talons and rough skin said to be as hard as steel. He does not have scales, this is a very unknown condition known as being a Silk-Back and it does not hinder him. But it is much easier to hurt him and he often gets bruises, even though he may get bruises, never once has his skin been broken through because of the thick hide that he bears. Tolouse is fairly large, bigger than most dragons as he grew at an alarming rate all through his life, and his eyes are supposed to be a deep red but because they are patially blind they are a light pink in colour. Sometimes the eyes seem to be the same colour as its body because of a protective scale, like all dragons he has a forked tongue and bat like wings with a long curved claw on his thumb. This dragon has seen many battles and because of this he has many scars, on his neck he has chain running up it which is woven from his captivity. He will not let anyone take it off, as it marks an important time in his life. During this time they amputated both of the dragons front legs, leaving him bipedal and using his wings to move on the floor. But because some of the weight was taken off, he is now an even better flier. Tolouse is a large, savage creature with enormous spiked wings and an ugly head with partially blind eyes a milky pink colour. Due to being underground for so long, the dragon's skin is pale and flaky, and he bore the marks of its brutal treatment from his torture: scars on its face made by vicious slashes across its face from hot swords. Prior to their escape from the hunters, both of its rear legs had heavy cuffs on them with chains leading to massive pegs driven far into the rocky floor of the subterranean chamber and they are still on him, and the chains fly loosely behind him. Tolouse's roar is said to make the rock tremble, and it was known to breathe jets of flame. Because of his large size, he is not the fastest or most agile dragon but can wing his foes with powerful fire and brute strength. His eyes are very high on his head and his snort is very thin and small with jagged and unevenly spaced teeth. The spines on its back are giant, much bigger than other dragons, and it has four horns coming out of the top of his head, the shorter one is closer to his eyes an snout.

Gyavus is a gorgeous dragon, hollowed bones for lightness and swift
movement creating a rather slim and toned figure built for both speed
and endurance in order to be proficient in flight. His figure is entirely
covered with tough, reflective and deep emerald scales, including
along his underside but is lesser in amount and tender, that are heat
resilient and are sharp like razors themselves. At a closer distance,
one will notice they form the shape of a teardrop or pentagonal form
that overlaps one another, he is able to make the scales stand on end
when feeling threatened or alarmed, or as he pleases. His horns
begin at the head, framing his face with the top spikes larger than
the bottom ones, at the neck it is at its largest, aligned in two rows,
but soon gradually minimizes all the way down to his tail which
appears to be double barbed. Being a sanitary creature he makes
habit of cleaning himself every so often which is a common gesture
and habit he performs after duties. His wingspan is not the largest
which can be quite surprising to most considering he is a hunter and
the length allows him to obtain more speed, but all in all he is
average sized with wings containing well built muscles that make up
for the shortage in length and prove to aid him in his duties. Gyavus'
eyes are slit with the iris is a charcoal hue while the rest is a vibrant,
golden tint that seemingly glows in the night. His teeth are in large
numbers but are not wide, they happen to be long in length with
keen edges and are tightly spaced to make kills clean and quick.

Ah yes, quite the looker Dareos is.
With hair that if the fairest blonde and
eyes of sparkling blue. He stand at
roughly six feet tall and has a fairly
muscular build to him. He weighs
about 160 pounds. He looks a little
bit intimidating, but at the same time
when you see the warm friendly look
in his eyes he seems a lot more
approachable. He has lightly tanned
skin that is smooth to the touch. His
lips are a little plump, with a straight
nose, strong chin, and captivating,
perfectly spaces eyes directly under
his fair blonde eyebrows. He is a
very handsome guy to see. Though
even he has his blemishes with
scars peppering his chest from
sword fighting. Some scars are
large and some are small, but as
they are on his chest they are well
hidden giving the illusion of physical
perfection, but nobody is perfect,
and even if at first glance he
might appear to be he would
never claim to be, nor does he wish
to be perfect. His flaws are a part
of him.

Dareos isn't your stereotypical
self-absorbed hard headed leader.
Yes he can be a bit on the cocky side,
especially when you first meet him. He
seems a little thick at first as well
simply because of the slight
arrogance he shows to strangers. He
just wishes for them to acknowledge
his rank as the prince. At any rate once
you get to know him he is rather sweet,
and you'll see how thoughtful he is.
He is calm, calculating, observant,
and very brave. He would gladly
give his life for his friends. His undying
loyalty is hard to overcome, even when
he has seen the worst in others. He
still tends to believe there is good in
everyone and wishes to help them
find it. He has a good heart, a big
heart with plenty of love and care to
show others. Of course, he doesn't
just hand his trust out to everybody
he meets. That would be too easy. No,
it takes awhile to truly get to know
him. Once you become his friend
you will see that the wait was worth
it. Dareos is wise beyond his years, and
patient with plenty of intelligence to
help him in making choices. He
only wishes to do what is best for
the kingdom. He wants peace, and
he will do what it takes to get it.

History
"Oh well, it's quite a tale."
His life was pretty simple growing up.
He never really had many friends
when he was just a boy. He
mainly just kept to himself and
practiced his sword fighting as
it was something he truly enjoyed
doing. His father helped him learn,
while his mother watched with
disapproving eyes. Under the watch
of his parents Dareos was raises
with tender love an care. He was
always an older child though he
often asked for a older brother or
a younger sister. His parents did
attempt to explain to him that it
would be impossibly to give him
an older brother, but at the time
he was too young to understand.
He was excited by the fact that
they said a younger brother or
sister was already on the way
though! He dearly hoped it was
a younger sister, but he would have
been fine with either. He waited
rather impatiently for the day to
come when he would meet his
little brother or sister. The day
finally came, and he could not
have been more excited! There were
complications with the birth though,
the baby was indeed a girl, but
she was not alive. His mother
also perished while giving birth
due to the complications. That
left a sad little boy with his
devastated father. As the years
went on his father spiraled
down into insanityleaving Dareos
to do everything by himself
and take care of the now
Looney old man. He knew
that many looked upon his father
with harsh mocking eyes now,
but he stilled loved his father. The
man was in poor health however
and even with the care of his
beloved son he soon passed.

Dareos knew enough to take
care of himself well enough after
that. He got a job and took care
of the house. During his free time
he went on adventures. He ended
up venturing into the Black Forest
with them one day, not expecting
to find anything extraordinary. He
was surprised when he saw a glow
coning from behind some bushes.
He wasn't sure what it was, but it
was quite beautiful and seemed to
draw him in. He realized then
that his feet had brought him there.
That he had been compelled to
come here. It was as if whatever
was emitting this glow had called
him here. He looked up seeing that
five others were arriving. Had they
been drawn this place as well? It
appeared to be so. He had tilted
his head at them, but soon the
glow called his attention back. He
pulled some of the brush away and
looked at the glowing objects with
wonder in his eyes. What were the
strange objects? Dareos had never
seen anything like them. Or..Wait.
He had! Just not of that size. They
were eggs, but what kind of eggs?
As he looked closer he had to
wonder if they could possibly be...
No. Dragons were extinct weren't
they? His gaze met with the purple
egg, and his hand started to reach
towards it. That was how he met
the dragon he now rides. He got
to know the other six people who
ended up there. Two of then were
not so bad and he ended up making
friends with them. Two other he
felt rather nuetral towards, but the
last...He strongly distrusted. He
traveled with them, became their
leader even, and still is with them
to this day.

With their dragons they all hide as
hunters chase them. He will not
let the hunters take his dragon
from him. He has worked with her
practices their flying and fighting
skills together. He has grown fond
of her, developed a powerful bond
with her. He refuses to lose her as
she is now part of him and his
closest friend. He knows that
danger follows them, but he does
not fear. He will face any challenges
head on, and he will protect those
he holds dear to his heart.

Annabeth Rose is the huntress of the riders. Her weapon of choice are daggers and spears. She carries a spear in her belt, and daggers anywhere she can fit them. She has some in her boots, sleeves, etc. She has deadly aim and never misses. Some people like to try to take advantage of her because she seems small and delicate, but she does have a fiery temper, if you can make her mad. She can fight for herself, and doesn't like others to protect her. Or fight her battles. She tends to keep her temper in check and has a lot of patience. Annabeth is distant compared to others. She doesn't trust a lot of people, and tends to keep to herself. Shes quiet. She pushes people away, but that doesn't realize that's shes doing it. Though, she is respectful and proper, she isn't afraid to state her opinion, even if it will get her in trouble. She's stubborn and always fights for what she believes in. She never backs down and always stands for what she thinks is right, even if it can get her in trouble. Annabeth is different, and manages to catch the eye of a few boys. Whether it be her looks, or her personality, it doesn't matter. Its hard to get close enough to her for her to be interested in anyone like that.
