The brute walked out of the small den, stretching. The male had quickly gone up ranks do to his tactics. The thought almost made him smile. His pale stare grazed over the sleeping camp, and clambered onto a large rock.

She watched her brother, Juam, walk out. The female snorted at his always serious demeanor. She curled back up into a ball in the warm den

Moltly stared out from underneath an outcrop. He saw his brother's lip twitch when he thinks of something semi funny. The male turned his head, catching a glimpse of Chevy. The led went to stand up, but thought better of it and rested his head on his paws.

The sturdy female picked her way around the destruction. This had been her life, her home. Yeah, she was a lone dog, but the humans always fed her. Katarina sighed heavily and stared at the forest.

Ferix


Strange noises came from the den that the large brute slept in. They weren't anything scary, just the sounds of a dog stretching and yawning at the same time. Words that weren't really words, but they couldn't really be described as sounds either. The Golden Shepherd was awake bright and early as usual, with a soft sleek looking tan coat. Tongue swiped around blackened jowls and then down over the snowy patch on his chest. His ears, paws, and the tio of his tail matched the coloring of his face. He had the coloring more of the German Shepherd, but he had more of the fur type of the Golden Retriever. Large paws spread slightly as his weight pressed down on them upon standing to his full height. Instantly he was on alert as his mind had awoke with his body finally. He padded out of his den looking proud as ever. He wasn't so much an arrogant prideful, or boastful even. He was simply proud to be himself regardless of not being a purebred like some. He looked about at the other dens, seeing if other wolves were awake. He threw his head back giving a howl. It wasn't anything like the howl of a wolf really, but it would work to get the point across. Just a signal that it was time to awaken and start the day. The city was in ruins, and there were no more humans around, but dogs had survived. Ferix had been taught to fight and hunt by his father when he was younger, lucky for him. He was okay with being out in the wild, though he did miss his humans. He was more than capable of fending for himself and his pack. He sat down looking crisp and eager to get things done once his pack was awake and bustling with activity. Ah, he felt good about this day, though he didn't know why. He just did, something just felt right.

He spotted Juam, Shibia, and Moltly up and gave each of them a good morning nod, tail waving happily behind him despite the serious look on his face.

The female yawned as she heard Ferix's howl. Stretching her stiff limbs, Kyric walked out with her head held up proudly as she walked past Ferix and Juam, she nodded and went to the edge of the camp with her tongue lolling happily. She always went into the forest, but then she was on a leash. *I'm free!* The female sighed and walked back sitting in between the third in command and the alpha.
