Chris saw a light nearby, and he hastily grew an grape vine bush around his, hoping the thing following him wouldn't notice that grape vine bushes didn't exist. The thin tendrils bore sweet berries. He knew it was stupid, but he plucked a berry, causing the bush to rustle.

Vanessa heard a bush rustle, and she yelped. her light went out, and she looled around. A bush close to her was slightly shaking. She walked over to it.

Chris heard a yelp and screamed, surprised, and the bush disappeared. He fell backward, but bit very far since he was sitting. He realized it was Vanessa when he sat up again. "You scared me!" He yelled.
