Description
Ferix happens to be a
German Shepherd x Golden Retriever
mix. His breed is also called a Golden
Shepherd. His coat is soft, and fluffy,
made up of a tan base coloring. This
turns into black on his face, ears, paws
and his tail tip. He also has a white
spot on his chest. As a combination
of two larger breeds he is of course
a large dog. He stand 26 inches at the
shoulder, is a little over four and a half
feet long, and weighs in at roughly
85 pounds. Now he isn't the largest
dog out there, but he for sure isn't a
lap dog either. An all around good
good mix, with traits from both breeds.

Personality
"Who me? Oh, that's easy!"
You have stumbled upon a
brute who may, at first, look quite
unwelcoming. I promise you this is not
the case. Ferix is constantly in thought,
working out plans, and details. His brain
doesn't know how to rest unless he
is asleep. When he is awake though
he is constantly alert, seeking only
the safety of his pack. His German
Shepherd side gives him a very strong
protective side towards everyone he
cares about, which is his entire pack.
His Golden Retriever side gives him
a higher degree of intelligence and
alertness towards situations. He
would be much more likely to act
based on instinct if he was a purebred
Shepherd. Both breeds tend to make
him a little high strung. Once you
get him to relax you will see that he
is really quite playful and very very
sweet. You'll make a life long friend
with Ferix and have a loyal protector
to watch over you. He is very honest
as well, so you might want to be
careful what you ask. It isn't that
he wants to hurt your feelings or
anything, but rather he just believes
you want the whole truth, no sugar
coating. He tends to be very dense
as well. Intelligent in all other areas
except for love. He won't know he is
liked unless straight up told that he
is. Once that happens though he tends
to easily fall in love. He is pretty
flirty with the ladies, and quite the
charmer. He will calm down once
he falls in love. All in all he is a fine
young dog with a lot of potential. Now
if you wish to know anymore you
should get to know him yourself.

History
"Er...I think it's normal?"
Well, to start of his story,
Ferix was born with parents of two
different breeds. His mother was the
Golden Retriever, his father the German
Shepherd. Now, he was born with
four other siblings. All four of them
happened to be females. It's safe to
say that Ferix really got tired of girls
from time to time. He did love his
family though, even if he did
wish for a brother every night.
He was the eldest and watched out
carefully for his little sisters. Being
raised around mostly girls made
him into a gentleman. He learned
at a young age to treat females like
queens and princesses being
raised as a prince himself. His
father was his greatest role model.
He was kind, and gentle with his
family, but brave and friece when
they were put in any kind of danger.
He raised Ferix to be just like him,
teaching the young pup right from
wrong early on in life. He was also
trained to hunt and fight for himself
in case he ever needed those skills.
He was a born leader like his
father before him, and quickly
took position as alpha male
among his siblings. Of course,
his father was still the real alpha
in the family. Well the early days
were the best days, but of course
those days did have to come to an
end. Don't worry, this isn't some
tragic tale. His family is still alive,
somewhere. Just separated is all.

Once old enough he was taken away
from his family. He was placed in a
home with another dog, some yappy
little breed that thought she was
the boss. Ferix did consider eating
the little Pomeranian once. He didn't
though. He treated her like the
queen she thought she was, as he
was raised to do. Anyway, his sisters
went to different homes from himself
and his parents. He doesn't know if
they are all together or not, but
part of him suspects they are
not. He simply hopes that they
are safe. He was actually pretty
happy with his new homes minus
the yappy furball. His humans were
very kind to him. They fed him, and
scratched him behind the ear. They
even let him up on the furniture!
They also taught him their weird
ways, like making him sit when they
said a certain word, and a few other
moves. He got good treats for
doing as he was asked, so he did
everything they wanted, one he
understood what they were asking
of him. Oh and then there was the
Frisbee, and the tennis ball! He
loved playing with those! He was
happy in the years he spent there,
but he never forgot his family. He
did have a new one though, and he
loved them dearly. Now this
family he did lose rather tragically.

He was snoozing when everything
started shaking. It made an awful racket.
He went and hid under a table
until it all stopped. His eyes had
been closed and tail tucked between
his legs. When it stopped he came
out only to discover everything
was destroyed. The furball was
nowhere to be found, but he had
managed to sniff out his humans.
They weren't moving, an older
couple, though not elderly. They
still had lives to live, but that was
cut short. Pain overwhelmed Ferix,
and he fled his home onto the streets,
seeking safety. He found other dogs
that had no home anymore, and
were also in search of safety. He
came together with them, and
formed another new family, a
pack. It seemed as though he was
the aloha. He wasn't sure of it at
first, but once he got uses to it
he fell naturally into the leader role.
Now he looks after his pack with
kindness, but also ferocity towards
threats. There is still plenty more
to add to his tale, but for that you
will have to join him for the ride as
you are now entering his present
and future. I have said all that I
can, now it's his turn to continue
his tale. Do join him, maybe you
can become a part of his life, his
history, his destiny. Only time will
tell, seize the opportunity now.
