Umm... Can't think of anything Mels sorry I read mainly fiction... Still wondering how this dang points system works...
_Randomness_ Do any of you ever wish that your mom would TELL you that you got invited to the ladies breakfast instead of telling you the day before you go... or telling you that someone might take you to california before the next time you see them... Hey this might make a good plot

I'll tell you how the point system works!
IT WAS MADE BY SOME IDIOTS IN A BASEMENT
AND TEACHERS WERE LIKE "DUUR HUUR HURR LETS MAKE OUR STUDENTS USE THIS!"
yeah. pretty much. Okay but for reals
we get a point goal- usually around 40-50 points. and a book level goal around 5th grade to 6th grade (we're above that tho)
then each book has points and it's book level. Non fiction books are usually shorter so of corse they are all worth like half a point and the tests are impossible -.-
then we take a test online for the book. The questions are stupid. Lets say you are reading a book about foxes. Then it says "The foxes predator is the wolf" or something like that, then it will be like "The wolfs eat rats mice blah blah blah"
but then the DUMB question will be like "What things do wolfs eat?"
and you're all... I READ A BOOK ABOUT FOXES!
yeah so that's it.

Like.. I wanna write something.. But the writers block. It just isn't funny anymore ;-;
I can write like.. 3 pharagraphs of something, then decide its not good enough and erase it all. I've done this 3 times in the past hour.

yeah just. Don't erase it. Keep it. Literally the best way to get out is to just write, keep your mind flowing. Do NOT think. The purpose of the exercise is to find your muse and a feel for it, so that when you DO write, it won't feel as bad.
That being said, I know all my muses well enough that I never get a block.
((in other news an artist I LOVE drew my dear sweet birb for me ahah))
I'm gonna make this look good someday

That reminds me of something I did last year (again, in my awesome language arts class..) called Don't think write. We would just basically not think- and write. You HAD to write the entire 10 minutes, even if it was just like "The desk is wiggly. I like watermelon. Puppies are cute, oh I once saw a puppy.."
the purpose was to get our ideas flowing, then we would underline everything good and choose a good story topic
