Dunno, maybe because they want to trade? XD Yeah, I've gotten a few random trades. Sometimes I get something pretty useful out of it; other times the person flashes something like a shiny legendary, and when I can't figure out what they want, we get stuck in a lovely standstill in which each of us is waiting for the other to offer something different or cancel the trade.
I know right? There was this one time two weeks ago when I was looking to trade my Diancie for a Shiny Arceus (I know it seems unfair but I was really desperate and I still don't have it now) so one passerby asked to trade and showed me he has like 2 or 3 shiny Arceuses. I offered him my Diancie and it turns out he didn't want it and showed me his SHINY Diancie and it just gave off the feeling that he never wanted to trade and just wanted to show off his supposedly hacked pokemon. I left and cancelled but then later he kept on asking to trade again which turned out to repeat all of this T_T I just want someone to trade with who ACTUALLY intends to trade
/end rant
Im sorry to say but you cant get a shiny arceus in a trade because it never gave a legal shiny arceus not even in an event and so its trade locked :c

I don't think bad of people for liking them, I just disagree. It's fun to get one, but other than that.
Why does shiny Arceus not exist in the games legally? Not even for events (which is how normally shiny legendaries exist as far as I know)?
If you see me on here too much, feel free to PM me and demand I get back to work! Thank you!

Events are only special pokemon.
They arent always legendary or shiny, they are just realeased for a special thing like event zorua (not legendary or shiny) as the movie with zoroark and zorua came out.
And so the only way in getting a Shiny Arceus is cheating

I think shiny dragonite is just an excuse to name your pokemon Yoshi. XD
But yeah. Have you noticed that a lot of brown pokemon are green as shinies? Like Ursaring and Kabutops and Stantler.

I noticed that some of the shinies are barely different than the normal coloring, like Pikachu or Leafeon.
Also, any shiny that turned green is ugly. Not that I dislike green, they are just bad hues.

i don't know i like, Venesour, scizor, Jolteon, and a few other green shinies but i do agree it depends on the pokemon and the specific hue of green ^^' (like dragonite, ursaring, and toros)

Yeah. I think Espeon isn't really a good shiny, in my opinion, but Jolteon is okay. The electric green coloring is cool on it but green on Espeon just doesn't seem right. Noivern is one of the other few green shinies that look alright. Some of them look okay but most of the green-ish shinies just really need to change.
It also makes me a bitbsad that in gen 6, Togepi/tic/kiss went from being a pleasant gold to set them apart to having just the red and blue swapped to set it apart. It's just not as awesome anymore ;v;
