I have a crush on my drum major in marching band and I'm on color guard. It's really strange because I haven't had a crush on someone since I was in probably the 5th grade (was pretty stupid too) and I'm a sophmore now so I donno what to do about it. He seems so nice and is shy at times and has a good sense of humor too but I feel we are basically strangers since he's a junior and I only get to see him once a week during pratice . I want to get to know him better but feel like I'm fighting through 10 other girls on my team who try for his attention. Plus I have no courage to flat out say to him that I like him so I feel kinda stuck. So, yeah :\

My boyfriend is in pit percussion. So he's up on the timpani cart at the front of the field while I'm marching with my section and we are always making faces at each other.

The thing is I donno how to flirt or necessarily what is even considered flirting. I think it'd be kind of hard to make eye contact with him when he's conducting on a 5 foot ladder in front of the field too :c

Talk about anything. But don't let the occasional silence bother you. I can assume by your post that you're of a pretty young age so don't try to rush things. Just enjoy the chats you have together, and if you both click, then so be it. If not, you'll have many other chances.

I'm stuck. I'm confussed. I'm not feeling normal. I am a girl, I like another girl. I've known I was homosexual for about 4 years now but this girl I like it's like strong emotions. Well I've liked her for 5 months now and we've gotten real close. Today we took a picture together in cycling class at the gym [the one place I see her] I told her she was beautiful and on her way out the door to go do cardio she said I love you, to me. I said I love you too and smiled. I'm not sure if she loves me in the way I love her. I'm Unsure about my self. Just smile, wave, make faces(wrinkle your nose, stick your tongue out, whatever). I've always found it pretty easy to catch someone's eye from the front of the field. The drum majors are looking at the band, and at least my band's drum majors are always willing to have fun and mess around by making faces or talking to the people on the field if we aren't practicing right at that moment lol.

I second that! I'm in the pit, and I turn around quite frequently (even tho I'm not supposed to lol)
But as soon as I turn, my friends make goofy faces at me and such. If your spot in the show is ever close to the DM up there, I would smile or wave or something (when you aren't performing, of course 0.o)

So I approached my sorta-friend/crush to ask for his number today before school
Well, he couldn't remember his own number (pff, I don't remember my own either, so I totally get it) so my mission did not go as planned, but we ended up walking around together for probably 10 minutes or so before we had to go our separate ways, talking about goofy stuff and overall just being weird. He was teasing me again, which I found amusing. What a goof.
Since he can't seem to figure out his own number I'm just gunna give him mine tomorrow if I can catch him alone again ^^ I don't expect I'll be able to talk with him again like I did today, he has other friends he prolly wants to chat with. But that's fine

Hello! I'm just wondering, like completely random, what do you think that max age gap should be for a couple? No, I'm not in a relationship, I promise I literally just thought of this just by looking at this forum. I personally think that it's 10, at MAX. However, think how like in the show "Modern Family", Gloria and Jay have like, a 20+ age gap (o.e a little much I think but they look happy XD, then again it's a show soooo...) But yeah, write your opinion, I always think it's interesting in what people have to say.
