I let out a sigh of relief. "So how did your day go? Sorry, I'm not used to socializing.", I said. I fiddled with the apple in my hand. I was about to eat it until I heard a familiar voice yell, "The beach!" I jumped, startled and then suddenly remembered that the voice was Damian's.

I walked into the lunchroom momentarily pausing to asses the packed, noisy, heated area and immediately decided against it. After grabbing a slice of the cardboard pizza that had, surprisingly, began growing on me, I sauntered off to sit on one of the benches behind the library. I settled down, munched my crappy pizza and tried looking thoughtful and deep and interesting. Then I realized with extreme disappointment that I'd forgotten to grab some water.
