Vivian laughed a little at his comment and rested her hands in her lap, raising an eyebrow at him.
“Just because you're handsome, doesn’t mean everyone wants to love you.” She said softly and sighed to herself, rubbing her thigh. It was sore from her having worked out the night before, as she always did to keep her lean body in shape.“Egh, ya know. If our companies joined together we’d be quite a powerful team. I can see why you’d want to. I mean, pff, you can’t resist this.” Vivian winked but giggled, she never always thought she was one to be irresistible.Viv squeaked softly as the dog slobbered on her face, wiping it away with a bit of a disgusted face. Her emerald eyes flickered up as the phone call came in, listening to it with an amused light in her eyes, holding back a laugh as he spoke of partying and such. After the phone call had ended, she stretched a little. “You only wish you could get to party with me.” She swung the door open and glanced back at him, smiling a little. “Thanks though, and eh. You're gonna have to be good at convincing me Atticus, if you want lunch or anything for that matter.” Grabbing her coffee and purse, she shut the door behind her. Vivian shook her head and walked towards the double glass doors, thinking quietly to herself.
‘Oh Vivian stop...Even if you like him, or he likes you...He’s just another player. A foolish player. Not worth your time..’As she stepped into the beautifully made building, her Grandfather sauntered over and hugged her tight.“Viv! My favorite little girl!....What were you doing in Atticus’s car?” His grey eyes flashed in irritation.“Calm down, he just gave me a ride…” “You know you should stay away from that boy, he’s bad news!” Vivian nodded and waved him away, walking towards the elevator.Stepping inside she waited until they got to the 14th floor, her floor. She walked into the hall and towards her office, humming quietly and smiling as her assistant greeted her.“Good morning Ms. Rose!”“Good morning, Darla. Could you go refill this? I need to file out my paperwork. Thank you.”She stepped into her spacious office with a giant glass window, overlooking to the city.Sinking in her chair, VIvian leaned back and closed her eyes and rubbed her fingers through her long hair. After a bit, she came back to her senses and took a pile of papers from the corner of her desk. She grabbed one of her pens and began to sign off papers, placing others aside that she refused to accept. Her eyes scanned the papers quickly and skillfully, humming quietly as she worked."Hm.."Vivian glanced up as Darla returned, handing her coffee and a delicious looking pastry."Why thank you. Could you take these to the trash? People are fools in what they suggest." Vivian's voice was cold, and it was obvious she was a bit upset now.Darla laughed a bit awkwardly and nodded, running off to do what she had been told.Vivian sipped her coffee and carried on signing and writing on documents, brushing strands of dark hair behind her ear.
