and doesn't let me do anything. IcedTea and Java and all that are working as far as I know.

Looks like a lag to me. Have you tried clearing your cache? ^^;

So, when I attempt to use oekaki, it stays at a grey screen and when I scroll, the top part drags down with it. Same when I go back up. It's lagging. I've tried a lot of things and it is really irratating me. I can't do my job as a nursery artist and such! If you could help me, i'd like it in pictures as it is hard for me to use it from text.

Yep, and I just downloaded Opera and tried it with that today, and it still didn't work.

Hi,
I'm having some trouble with saving my oekaki.
I recently dragged it past all my computer's security settings, and I can successfully draw and color in pictures. However, I cannot save them. If I click the 'Save pic' button, this window appears:
Screen Shot 2014-10-22 at 10.49.16 AM.png
Screen Shot 2014-10-22 at 10.49.16 AM.png (58.32 KiB) Viewed 96 times

The same thing happens if I click 'File'- 'Save Oekaki'.
I'm using Firefox 32.0.3, on a Macbook Pro, with OS X Mavericks.
Thank you if you can help!

Check which version of chibipaint you are using, mine was set to 1.0 by java, which is why I got that error.

I probably sound like an idiot, butHow do I check the version of Chibipaint? I thought we didn't have to download it to use the oekaki. I'm probably wrong though XD

Go to that and youll understand from there :D. You dont have to download you just clicks a box and it changes to 2.0 and stuff. I just did it after messing about with Java and now I think I will loose the drawing I just did ;_;. Eh I hate Java now Im not smart enough to deal with technical stuff! My solution to everything is hit random buttons xD
I could be wrong ^^ But I think I got it right aha

bri. wrote:First off just so you know i did look in the search bar under mac pen pressure but nothing seemed to have the same problem as me soo...

Okay so I'm having pen pressure problems on oekaki, I used to have a pc and it worked fine on there but now i just got a new mac and it isn't working. I'm trying to get it to work under safari since on chrome it says "The newest version of Java isn't supported when using Chrome on Mac OS X, please use Safari instead." and on Firefox it acts like the whole oekaki screen is a picture and I can't click on anything. On safari I can open oekaki and everything but the pen pressure just isn't working.

I do have firealpaca (another drawing program kind of like sai) and the pressure works fine on there, I have a driver installed, installed J-tablet, restarted but it's still not working.I can open the oekaki program and draw but like I said the pen pressure just doesn't work.
Also when tested on the j-tablet site the pen pressure doesn't work so i honestly don't know what the problem is... I have the newest version of mac os x whatever lol

Thanks for any help I get! I will truly appreciate it, i miss drawing on oekaki ^^

just bumping this so no one misses it :3

Hello.
I used to use internet explorer, and windows 7, but now i use chrome. I still use windows 7.
I got a new computer, about a year ago. It is an acer, and it is one of those mini ones. It didnt work on it up until a month ago, when my mom and I tried using a different browser. Now I use Chrome. The other day I tried to go onto Oekaki and it said I had to update my Java. So I did, but then I got side tracked and logged off for the night. Then I tried it today, and It said it was blocked by my security settings- exactly what it said before. I went to see if it had uninstalled the old version, and it didn't, so I tried to un install it but it couldn't. So I did it manually. But it still wont work, and I am really ticked.
Today I was trying to find a minecraft recording software and i installed then uninstalledfraps free from this site, and then I started to install camstudio but i stopped when it stated to ask about some program that started with an L, i dont remember. I decided I would get someone to help me later. It didnt seem ike a scam, I was just confused. It left a installation shortcut on my desktop and I deleted it, but there was nothing to uninstall.
I am worried if mabye these have anything to do with it? could they have left a virus or something? I dont know but i am very upset and I will love you forever if you help me.
Thanks so much.
