"Naturally," Zero said. "I just wish they had some magnemite around here, I don't fancy going up against a rock-type leader armed only with a psybeam.

[Boomer]

"Yeah, that would be hard..." she said, "I was thinking grass or water moves would work nicely..." She shrugged some and Alessa came back to Ash's side.

"Those would be nice," Zero said, "But I've always been more of a steel-type kinda guy. Though i suppose it would behoove me to check some of these trees for Pineco. I could really use the extra defense." Zero looked at Ash, then at Alessa. "You seem like a capable trainer," He said. "Mind if I travel with you?"

[Boomer]

"Sure, I don't mind at all!" she said happily, "I'd really enjoy the company... but first, what is Lockdown?" Alessa sniffed the air and barked, then rushed off into the bushes. "She does that a lot..." she murmured. She heard something coming from the bushes and went over to them. She saw a slightly chubby Bulbasaur with a red ribbon, badly injured and panting a little. Alessa sniffed the Bulbasaur, then looked at Ash. Ash got out a potion and spayed the Bulbasaur's wounds. "Poor thing..." she mumbled.

"Oh right, I haven't introduced you yet." Zero pulled Lockdown's pokeball out of his belt, then threw it. "Say hello, Lockdown." The Black-and-Silver Porygon appeared in a burst of light. It hovered in place, staring at Ash and Alessa.

[Boomer]

Ash took the Bulbasaur and walked back to Zero. "Oh, what a cool looking Pokemon!" she exclaimed, "Look Alessa, he's got different colors too." Alessa looked at Lockdown, then slowly nodded. The Bulbasaur started to feel a little better. "I think I'll take this guy to the Pokemon Center." she said, "You can go and battle Brock if you want... we can maybe meet up somewhere when we're done?"

"How about at the museum?" Zero asked. "I heard that there's an old amber there, I'm hoping they'll let me take it to Cinnabar Island. Apparently the research lab there has developed a way to restore fossilized pokemon to their original states."

[Boomer]

"Really? Sure, we can do that!" she said, nodding some. She started to walk towards the city, somewhat taking her time. She enjoyed nature very much. Alessa looked back at Zero and Lockdown. Surprisingly, she seemed comfortable with them; she wasn't normally quick to trust others.

Zero went to put Lockdown back in it's ball, but then decided against it. Motioning for the pokemon to follow, he walked after Ashe.

[Boomer]

Alessa kept next to Ash as they kept walking. Ash smiled as they soon came into Pewter City. She stopped and looked at Zero. "Okay, good luck with your battle!" she said happily.
