Not sure how to explain them but I'll try. In my tablet pen there is a little black thing that is round at the end and is what's used to draw and once it goes flat you're supposed to replace it with a new one but I ran out so I have to buy some. If you're still unsure then look up Wacom bamboo pen nibs
