I love Animal Jam, but I really miss my membership, which expired a little while ago. I think that having a membership is definitely a status symbol in Jamaa, as it is with most sites. However, the status seems exceptionally high with AJ. Most jammers won't take me seriously just because I am a nm, even though I am older than most of them! XD

Supposedly, Animal Jam donates all funds from memberships to Wildlife Protection causes. Don't know how true that is, but that was what it used to say on the Membership page back in 11'.

they use some of it to pay the workers, some to donate to wildlife protection, and some of it to power all the computers, and the site itself.

yeah, im not too fond of tikis, but they can look cool on foxes, how their snouts poke out :lol:
