She wanted to tell him I live in the woods until the other wolf came out again. She got up in a bolt and growled at her

Percy blinked then looked towards the wolf. He glared, recognizing them as the one who had attacked Winter. He got up "Why did you attack that human?" he asked hesitantly, though he was pretty certain it was a werewolf.

She growled at the wolf, standing by Percy's side

He nodded and got up. He went to the door and looked back

I stared at him my tail starting to twitch as I shifted. I was the oldest out of the werewolves so I was able to shift whenever. "Because we need more like us, not mortals." I said roughly "Were being killed, by hunters in the woods one. by. one." I growled through my human lips as I said it bitterly.

Percy stayed silent for a while. He had not known this. Why would the humans hunt wolves...they can't possibly know what we are... he thought blinking a few times "Some humans are innocent though... Maybe they don't wish to be werewolves" he said silently, rubbing his arm as he did.

I watched him eyes narrowed taking a few steps closer my boots clicking on the pavement. "Yeah, maybe. I know your one of us, same with the female that rammed me. Once were dead, were gone. Humans can make more of their species. Remember that Percy, that were going by faster than you think..." I held part of my neck that had been shot by hunters and cut by one of them with a knife when I was wolf. It stained my fingers with blood as I took a few steps back.
