History: Zara was born into a small middle class family in New Orleans, her father was a saxophonist rising in the jazz clubs whilst her mother worked for a fashion magazine. Life was pretty normal until 2005 when hurricane Katrina hit, it caused a devastating impact on their lives, it destroyed all they had. Having no where to go, Zara's family moved over to California to live with Zara's uncle, a successful business man who helped the family get back on their feet. After that everything was normal, life continued and Zara faced the problems of every other teenager; school stress, bullies, friends, boys, the whole package.
