Barrel is kind of intimidating, despite his size. Many took him for granted, until they saw how much damage a small hose can do. If he feels like someone is trying to beat him in something, or force him to do something, or take something of his, he goes berserk. Some horses compare him to a biting tornado that has a target. The skeletal markings on his sides don't help others in believing he is not a demon, not at all. Even though Barrel is very territorial, he seems to have a soft spot for, oddly, moonlight. He seems to take great pleasure in lying on a hilltop watching the stars rotate by and the moon float through the sky. Once, he was teased for it. That is certain to never happen again.
