They all go for around the same price so it doesn't really matter. But i think the most desirable might be ice and plague.

Definitely seconding this! I make all my profit from exalting and levelling up dragons. I usually level to about 8 and get around 11-12k per dragon. Considering I buy hatchlings at around 4-5k it's quite a nice profit!
Plus all the loot from the coli- especially when you get rare drops like eggs, ambushes, good familiars....it's a good way to earn treasure!
That and I have no patience for the fairgrounds xD Too slow for my taste and not enough payout.
