Pineleap threw Snake to the ground, on hard rocks. He then pushed his paw on his back with all his anger, most likely breaking a rib of his. "I will never forgive what you have done, Snake." He muttered into Snake's ear, then slicing it open with his claws. He then ran to Krestelflame, sitting down next to her. "Krestelflame... Please hang on.. I'll try to bring you back to camp.. Just please hang on.." He said.

"But you don't have a front leg!" She wailed. "Snake is dead... Flintfoot is dying, and its my fault... Pineleap is attacking his body..." She began to hyperventilate. "Is it bleeding?" She asked Kestrelflame, but quickly turned to Flintfoot. "Are you alive?"

“Agh!” Kestrelflame yelled, blocking out everyone and everything. She stumbled forward, blinded by grief and confusion.

[atticus,]

"Flamewing, just bring him to the camp. I'll bring her back." He mewed, pointing his tail to Krestelflame. "And for a favor, just remain calm."

Blood slowly seeped from Flintfoot neck wound. The tom feebly bent to lick the dirty wound, wincing at the touch.

Pineleap picked up Krestelflame by the scruff. "Flamewing, pick up Flintfoot by the scruff. We will take them to the medicine cat den." He demanded, holding Krestelflame by the scruff.

Kestrelflame still stumbled onward. She fell, slamming her face into the ground. She looked down at her only front leg. Tears formed in her eyes. She looked up, looked up, seeing everything in slow motion. There was a blaring sound in her ears as she looked around, dazed.

"Alright, but i wont touch his neck." She nodded feebly at Pineleap's command, slipping Flintfoot on her shoulders. "I'm sorry Flintfoot." She muttered, and began to trot back. She swam across the river, almost losing hold of Flintfoot. "Urk..." She muttered as she clambered out.

The tom felt his eye-lids begin to close. Then, he felt the ground. Looking up, all the tom could was give a small mew of pain.
