Backstory (doesn't have to be long)*:
I trudged through the forest, puddles splashing beneath my feet. I grinned. Being bad felt good. Rain was pouring down, dripping off my fur. I had just crushed the dreams of an unfortunate soul who'd encountered me earlier. It satisfied me to know that I would not be alone anymore. I was joined everyday by those I'd met.
My mind drifted to that day. The day when I snapped.
It had been a gloomy day, just like this one. I used to be a spritely little thing, skipping around with joy. I was carefree. My parents warned me about the dangers surrounding me.
I had just finished eating some blood red fruits, which were my favourites. I was beginning to get dark, so I trundled in the direction of my home. That's when I encountered him.
He was stood there, shaking and laughing manically. He stared down at me with a huge smile, his eyes wide.
"Come here," he whispered. I passed him, ignoring him. The stranger's mouth became a thin line as I walked off.
I dismissed the event as completely normal. Some Chimas were quite messed up in the head. But as I went to find more red berries, I heard rustling behind me, as if someone was stalking me. I turned to face the danger, only to find the stranger from yesterday.
"What do you want?" I hissed. The stranger grinned, the same psychotic expression as before.
"I said come here," he said. I backed up as he approached me slowly. My eyes suddenly met his, and I couldn't pull them away. My vision began to blur at the edges.
"W-What are you doing?" I cried, trying to escape whatever was holding me in place. The stranger didn't speak, just inched towards me. The closer he got, the more fuzzy my vision became. "Stop!" I began to black out.
I woke up, in the same place as I was before. Was it all just a bad dream? I was about to think that was the truth until I heard something.
"Hey," the voice said, its tone slightly taunting. I looked around. Where was that voice coming from? It chuckled. "I'm in your head, dim-wit." My eyes went wide. Had that stranger transferred himself into my consciousness? I shook my head. No, that wasn't possible.
I walked home, the voice insulting me as I went. I was getting more and more infuriated by it with every step I took. Eventually, I just had to say something.
"Shut up!" I yelled "You're driving me insane!" The voice simply giggled.
"Good." As I continued on my journey, thoughts of anger flashed through my mind. I wanted to hurt someone to let that anger out. My eyes went wide as I realised what I was thinking. I was definitely losing it. But I didn't want to. I gritted my teeth and tried to blot the stranger's voice out, but no matter what I tried it didn't work.
By the time I reached home, I was shaking with anger. I had to break something or I was going to go insane.
A few weeks later, and I was running out of places to hide broken stuff. I couldn't help myself. I sighed as I sat down underneath my favourite tree. Was there absolutely nothing I could do? The voice in my head was still teasing me. Tears rolled down my cheeks. I couldn't handle it. It was lose it or lose it in this situation.
Just then, a sharp pain shot through my head. I yelped.
"Your body's mine!" the stranger shouted. I struggled to fight mentally fight him, but I was quickly overcome by his sheer force. I watched helplessly as my body began to be controlled by the stranger. Then I couldn't control my body. I felt myself grin.
"Now," the stranger said out of my mouth "Who should we get today?"
I grinned as I recalled the events that had led to this. That innocent little Chima was no more. He was now a fully fledged psycho, like me.
