"Its been a day since we've last seen her...". Flamewing growled, a few fox length's away from Flintfoot. "We have to try and find her again!"

Flintfoot his his face in his paws. " What's the use? She's probably dead! " He snapped, buring his face deeper his paws.

She stared at her paws angrily. "Then we will have to put her to rest! In any case, we have to find her!"

" What use am I? I have two lame legs for StarClan's sake! " He looked up.

"Then I will let you ride on my back! But we can't just sit here!" She growled.

Flintfoot narrowed his eyes and turned his head.

"Fine," she leapt to her paws. "I'll get her myself." Suddenly, her voice soften. "You rest here, don't stress yourself."

Flintfoot's tail lashed, and his ear flicked in response.

Silent, she dipped her head as she passed Flintfoot, biting down the cringe as she suddenly remembered what he had said yesterday. "I promise, I'll return her safe and sound." She padded out of camp, going towards the river. Once she reached it, she stopped. "He disappeared there..." She muttered. She wafted into the river, her paws curling at the cold. She shook out her pelt once she had reached the other side, she wandered around until she picked up their scent. "I'm coming for you..." She muttered darkly, and bounded into the forest.

Snake held Kestrelflame down, growling. “You stupid piece of foxdung!” He snarled, lashing her aside again. She whimpered in pain. She was covered with blood and bruises.
