Is it normal for progens to have an X/Y/X color combo because of what I remember, you can only choose two colors for your progen and the tert is random?

o.e stripes gene is the least expensive
and the tert depends mainly on what the first two picked are

Stripes is actually among the cheapest genes you can get. Be happy it's the one you want to give your custom progen. ID

And that's incredibly rare. I believe double colored progens of any kind are rare all around, because the Tertiary is entirely random. It's sort of like if you hatched an egg, except only for the Tertiary color, as you chose the breed and first two colors.
