Luke had been walking down the hallway, on his way to his first class, and quietly humming along to a song he had been writing. He was looking down, gently tapping one of his thumbs against the textbook he carried to the beat he had thought up. Since he wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings, he didn't notice the girl that was walking right in front of him. His head snapped up, startled, as he was pulled back to reality at the abrupt feeling of the girl bumping right into him. All he saw was papers flying around the brunette girl, then gently floating to the floor. He blinked and looked down at the girl as she knelt down to start gathering her papers, which were now scattered across the floor. He quickly knelt down and started helping her pick some of them up. He shook his head and replied, "Ah, I'm so sorry, as well - I didn't see you there." He could feel a slight blush creep up on his cheeks from embarrassment as he spoke. Pay more attention to where you're going, Luke! he thought to himself with a small sigh.

"No it's my fault I was just really pissed off when I found out I couldn't bring my pet to school. I'm okay with a D on this stupid essay anyways.", I said picking up the last paper. "My name is Hope and I'm sorry for bumping into you.", I said with my hand out for a handshake.

Luke shook his head a little, then glanced over at the green-eyed girl, and replied, "Ah, no, it's okay, honestly. I wasn't paying attention, myself, to be honest." He smirked a little as he handed a few papers to Hope. "And I'm Luke, but feel free to call me Lucas or Lucifer, if you would rather," he added as he shook her hand, "Don't worry about it. Like I said, it's just as much my fault, since I wasn't paying much attention, either. I'm sorry." He let go of her hand, then rubbed the back of his neck as he thought for a moment. "Er...if you don't mind my asking, why do you think you'll get a D on your essay?" he asked, slightly curious and hoping the question wouldn't make him sound too nosy. He shrugged a little, letting his hand drop back down to his side. "Ah, if you don't want to answer, that, though, you don't have to," he quickly added, glancing away from her for a moment.

"It's okay, I don't mind answer questions. I might a get a D since I'm not a writer or better than a 3rd grader at writing. I'm not the best at school either, but I try because I'm trying to keep my granny happy. She's my guardian since... Nevermind!", I replied. Oh, and I'm also complete idiot that has a an alcoholic and drug addicted mother, a dead father, and my brother is sorta my sister's son right now too. Whoopie, great for me, I thought. I might've added that to my answer but I held back.

Stefán made his way out of his dorm room, patting his pockets to make sure his keys were there before letting the door completely close. He'd been locked out before, and he wasn't keen on doing so again.

Yesterday night was pretty good. He had some nice cake, and realized that he was getting a little better at cooking. For the morning, he had the usual fruit salad, not minding having to get up early to prepare it. He usually went to bed after dinner, so waking earlier than most was no problem. He decided to take an apple with him, taking his books and placing the fruit in his mouth as he finally headed to class, his eyes darting around the hall from person to person.

Viper walked out of the dorm room, leaving the bed unmade. There really was no point to making the bed when you were almost late to class, was there? Despite that fact, Viper wasn't really hurrying. He was busy thinking about what he'd make for dinner today. Maybe something breakfast-related, seeing as he didn't eat the aforementioned meal.

Luke nodded a little as she spoke, then tugged at his lip ring with his teeth. "Ah, I see," he replied and he stuffed one of his hand into his pocket. He smiled a little at her and said, "Well, maybe you'll do better than you think. I doubt your writing is that bad...I mean, I guess I can't say for sure, since I've never seen your writing, but sometimes, things are better than they appear, at first." He didn't really think much about why she had cut herself off, as he thought it wasn't really any of his business, anyway.

Jane
Jane quickly walked down the hall, not bothering to make eye contact with anyone. In fact, she kept her head somewhat low, allowing her hair to cover her face a bit, and held her books up against her chest in crossed arms. She peered out from behind the vail of hair as she scanned the rooms for her first class of the day - Literature. She finally saw the classroom, then headed towards it, quickening her pace ever so slightly. As she reached for the door, she felt her stomach rumble. She frowned a little - she hadn't eaten breakfast, as she thought she'd be late. Of course, she thought she was going to be late, as she had woken up later than usual. On the contrary, however, she was actually a little early. She bit her lip and debated heading to a cafe or something nearby to see if she could grab a bite to eat. She slowly shook her head, deciding against it once she thought she wouldn't have enough time to eat, and slowly opened the door. She stepped inside, seeing that not many others had arrived, yet, and headed to the back of the room. She sat down at a desk by the window, set her textbook down, then peered down at it.
