You continue walking and trip on a root in the ground. You curse as you fall in the dirt. Suddenly, you hear a thump in the tree beside you. You glance up; it's an arrow. What's going on?

Reason for becoming a Hunter:
Kyla felt that the Hunter life was perfect for her; she wanted to live a free, independent life without having to worry about the drama of a normal childhood. The life of a Hunter became her ideal image of her future, and though she never had a true aversion to boys, since she had no current love nor any interest in anyone, she decided that becoming a Hunter was the perfect life for her.

History:
Kyla has stayed at Camp Half-Blood for nearly half of her life, leaving her home when it became to dangerous. When the Hunters of Artemis visited, female campers were able to decide if they wanted to join the Hunters. Kyla found she had a lot in common with the Hunters, partially due to her mother representing the dark moon at times along with other similarities to Artemis, and so Kyla joined the Hunters of Artemis.
