So uh im quitting, its been a good run but i have kinda moved on from simas and I uh don't want all my babies to collect dust over time so..

You notice out of the corner of your eye, a black sima with muttled, matted fur. Bright neon markings dust her pelt and you notice toxic markings all over her body, not to mention the putrid green goo dripping from her eyes and jewel. Her form is thin, lanky and shaking- frail and withered from obvious lack of needed supplies.



You approach her cautiously, and ask if she's alright. You tell her to follow you, as you can see the fear and angst in her eyes. You walk for a time before conversation sparks up to a vanquish the oncoming silence. You feel it may be wrong to ask, but you think you know this sima- so you can't help but let the question slip. The silence between you, and the sima in question, was suffocating regardless- any excuse to break it was a good one.



You notice the pained look flash across her features as she cracks a pained smile. The sour green tears pouring down her cheeks seem so much more meaningful now, so much deeper than a thing of circumstance. You feel awful for asking in the first place, because when you bring up the name you'd thought of when you first saw her- her eyes remain as clueless and empty as they were prior. If anything she looks more pained, and her eyes drift to the ground.



She responds to your dubbing of her with those melancholy words, as if she herself were completely unsure. Unaware. Unknowing. The vacant and clueless expression on her face is enough to make you feel sorry for her, and you gently take your arms and wrap them around her, holding her shivering frame close to your own.

"I'll call you Mary."

You say, your voice stern and supportive. You feel her grip as it hesitantly tightens around you, approving of the title. You take her home with you, safe and sound- though her tears have never stopped since that day.

Since I've had her, she's forgotten everything about her past while in Rabbit's care.
