Personality: Easy going but far from lazy, this little guy is a very helpful sort. A bit like a working dog but considerably more tolerant of boredom, he likes being given jobs to do. With a person this often means following them around when they're doing chores to assist in any way a lizard can. Although he's a lousy guard pet, he makes a great child monitor, keeping small kids away from danger and out of trouble. Even with other lizards he'll do things like helping forage or lizard-sit the younger ones.

He befriends other lizards easily, assuming they don't mind him hanging around them near constantly, but he prefers the company of his own human family when he can get it. He'll be friendly with anyone, but he is always loyal first and foremost to his people. He rarely ever tires of their company and tries to be with them as much as possible.

Fortunately, he doesn't mind being left alone as long as it isn't for too long. A warm, quiet spot to nap and a good chew toy are his equivalent of curling up with a cup of tea and a good book. A little solitude isn't so bad as long as he has some way to pass the time. Being alone is also a good chance for him to tidy up his space, retrieve any lost toys, and of course give himself a good grooming. This is one lizard who doesn't neglect keeping himself neat and clean, always being sure to get between his nails and to carefully pick off any bits of loose dry skin.

But what does any of this have to do with candy corn?
Not much, really. This guy doesn't have any special love of sweets or of fall or summer (candy corn was originally a summer treat!) But what he does like is helping work in the garden or in the kitchen, like with this candy corn recipe. Sure there isn't much he could do aside from fetching forgotten or misplaced items and maybe working the food processor, but you can rest assured that he will be there at your side, watching you work and patiently awaiting any instructions.

And if you want to plant corn or anything else for that matter, there is no better helper around. He can dig holes, pop seeds in, bury them, and even carry around a hose or watering can to give them water. And weeding is easy, just point him at the offending plant and watch him dig it right up. But be careful about sending him after poisonous plants since he uses his mouth to pull them up and haul them away.

Paint is quite a fussy lizard, he has to make sure everything is right however when it isn't or someone frustrates him he will snap. When he snaps, lock all doors and hide because he will go on a rampage, tearing up everything in sight. The only way to calm him down is to knock him out somewhow (Psst always keep chloroform on hand) or you could try reasoning with him.

Paint is hard to make friends with due to his stubborn nature and his OCD. If you so happen to befriend paint, I should warn you now, he has a severe painting hobby. He loves to paint and will find inspiration anywhere, for your own safety I advise you not to laugh snigger or jeer in anyway at his artwork, because, as he said before "Most are Tasty"
Anyway, once you get on his good side, paint can really melt hearts...and minds (He's rather clever) So all in all he's a nice guy. But are you willing to put up with his personality? Well that's the question.

- Skeptical as well, in fact, as anything presented to him without sufficient evidence is deemed "false" or "fake." Most of his friends, few as they are, just learn to accept it and move on with a sigh.
-Vengeful. Anyone who has wronged him should beware, for though it may seem he has forgotten or forgiven, Reighk will not let you go that easily. Whether it be a simple prank or a revealing of his name to a stranger, it will be retaliated in kind. Not viciously of course, but a pie in his face means you'll get pied in the face in return.
