Just need to point out - A popular species doesnt mean someone is required to be happy 100% of the time. Ive wanted a Bear Run Tolter for a long time. I finally got a really good one, but I forget about her unless popular species are specifically brought up. My adopted species dont make me happy. My characters, namely Portalis, Tori, Gordon, and Wheatley make me happy.
The strange thing is - I adopted Gordon from someone. Technically he's a cheetah, but I treat him as a wolf. I loved him from the moment I saw him, and actually worked to get him even though no one else entered the competition. Whereas with my Tolter, it was a fairly large competition, but I didnt work to get her. I literally opened up a site, copied what it said, and won.
Its not the special species I won that makes me happy because I won easily, its the normal character I won by proving I adored him when no one else spared him a second glance that makes me happy.
