I suppose back on the topic of nice snags... I got this one from the AH for under 10kT. It is 1 of 16 on the site with its coloring, 1 of 2 not exalted, and the only dragon on the site with its coloring and genes.

how common is the gembond gene, and do dragons

It depends on the breed. They tend to do okay but it's not very popular at all on say - guardians for instance. :)

This amazing website is used to see the range of two dragons you want to breed together.
Like if I wanted to put in two of my dragons, I would put in their colors and then push "Generate Url" then copy & paste

Coatls are a pricey breed, aren't they? Would a gembond gene work well
for them?

Eh - at this point there aren't really any breeds that do significantly better than others but I think coatls are still pretty well liked overall. :) If you have nice colors and gene combos they'll probably sell alright. :)
