And I need a breed with a smaller prey drive because we have skittish cats (and one mean cat that will not hesitate to attack a dog). The person that we adopted our Chessie from said that he handled cats well, but that was a lie, so I find it hard to believe when people say that kind of stuff now. I just wanted to know breeds to avoid when having to coexist with cats.
All breeds except stuffed animals.
In all seriousness, no matter what breed you get, you will have to teach the dog not to chase cats unless you get an adult that already knows not to chase cats. Even Mocha, who is good with ALL cats, had to be taught not to chase as a puppy. Dogs are, well, predators. They chase things. Even Creed who was exposed to cats before coming home chases Saffron from time to time.

That's hilarious, we have that exact same gate for our dog and he does the same thing. If the kitty door on the bottom is open he'll lay with his head through it.
@Jazi- Thanks. ^^ I guess we'll just have to work really hard on training.

Creed updates!

He puts himself in his crate! Now that's crate training. He goes in without a fuss but sometimes still cries if he knows I'm still in the house while he's in his box.

Wabbit season! (Duck season!)

Mr Muscles did a very nice self almost-stack in the yard. No chubby puppies allowed here!

He's soooooo much bigger than Mocha now.

Mocha's version of "playing with the puppy" aka ROOOOOOOOAR in his ear.

Creed's version which is... I don't even know what the Hell this is...

I think he's growing and developing very well

I absolutely love that picture of Creed jumping all sideways playing with Mocha. That is so adorable Jazi.
Our training instructor calls Link a jack rabbit because of that weird let me bounce but try and change places at the same time thing. Link adores playing with our instructor before class and just bounces around like a complete moron the second he see's him.

Jazi- Creed is getting so big!
Bella fell trying to jump up on a tall wall a few days ago. Luckily she's fine and wasn't fazed (She jumped right back up afterward)
We went on an art walk thingy and she saw two statues that freaked her out. It's the first time I've seen that kind of reaction from her towards anything. All the other statues were fine but these two that were sitting together. When we started to walk up she looked unsure then started to growl and bark a bit at both of them. I didn't have any treats with me (The one time leave them behind) but I tried to encourage her to investigate and gave her lots of praise when she did. She went up to both and sniffed them a bit. By the time we left she was still a little bit wary of them but definitely much better.
Wish I could go back with some treats and work a bit more with them but we were on vacation and are now back.

hey guys, ruby wont ever eat anymore. we've always gotten her the same food since we have gotten her, and she has always gulped it down quickly. but now she just laps up her water and dosen't even touch her food. could it be because she is growing and dosen't like the type of food we are giving her, or could something be wrong with her? everything else seems fine with her expect that she throws up every couple of days, but im pretty sure thats because she drinks her water to fast. got any suggestions?
