Zacharias
"Changing in the bathroom seems like a good idea ..." thought Zach as he suppressed another massive yawn. He walked towards his bed which was the one nearest to the windows on the boys' side. He liked that. Close to the windows meant being able to hear rain and watch snow fall when everyone is asleep, the air is still, and the only sounds in the room are deep, calm breaths. It meant being awake alone, content, safe and warm, and being able to think your thoughts undisturbed -- if you didn't fall asleep too soon.
He rummaged through his suitcase and pulled out a pair of shorts and a sleeveless white shirt, along with an orange toothbrush and some toothpaste, then got up with a sigh and went to the bathroom.
He emerged five minutes later, wearing the clothes he took with him previously and carrying the other ones in his arms. He threw them into the suitcase, closed it, pushed it under the bed and lied down on the bed with a content sigh. He contemplated reading some of the books he brought with him, but he was too tired. There were still some 15 minutes until the little dude came and turned the lights off, but he doubted he could wait that long. Instead, he just muttered 'good night' to whoever happened to be paying attention -- and even if nobody was, that was fine with him -- then pulled the covers over his face and fell asleep almost immediately.
((Poke @ Poofle x3 ... I just got this idea -- what if Ellie and Dan got lost in the castle? It would add some drama ... to feed Brute's beastly appetite. xD It's just a suggestion, though. x3 ))
