✎ Stealth of a storm

Set in a desert, the story follows two groups; fennecs and prairie dogs. After so long of wishing for some shade against the blistering heat, their wish has finally come true as a large, rare storm arrives. But is it just rain and shade that the storm brings?

In the year 2567, the world fell into an economic depression far worse than the Great Depression of 1930. Many people were forced to evacuate their homes to live on the streets, while others fought for their lives daily. The rich became the poor, and the poor starved to the point of emaciation and death. The human way of life is dying, and the only way to save it is to create the perfect generation. The Government has selected one hundred kids, fifty boys and fifty girls to be placed in the facility. The Government have paired up each of the kids to create the most genetically perfect children, to therefore save the human population from dying out. There are strict rules with harsh punishments, and when one girl finds herself in the middle of three guys, those rules are bound to be broken.

The Sun has let out massive solar flares upon earth and nobody knows why. The planets Venus and Mercury have burned away and Earth is left a dry, desert wasteland. It is up to the government to fix the problem, and the solution they chose tears children from their families to work as scientists in a facility far away, hidden from the public eyes. Nobody can stop the wrongdoing and they don't have much time until the Earth shares the same fate as Venus and Mercury. But they might have a spark of hope with the teenager Ardelia Kinnear.
