Her mother raised them by herself since her father was mates with a different female. Evergreendawn split apart from her family at 4 moons and adapted to living in the forest. She used her cunning skills to get around threats and issues she faced. Eventually she began to think what would happen as she got older and how dangerous it would be for her alone. She would rather be Witt a clan.
