Lunar died the other day He was 3 years old and died from old age. He was an amazing fish, and even being a Betta, wouldnot hurt any other fish and would take care of wounded fish. He was a sweet heart. He was definitely one of the best fish I ever had. My friends got him for me as a birthday present in June 2012. From that time on he lived in a 2.5 gallon, but his last few weeks he got to live in his own 15 gallon. I will miss him so badly and will always love and remember my Lunar, my son <3

Axel will get to have his 15 gallon, since he is the only one if my now two Bettas who is in a 2.5 and not a 15.

Today I lost one of my female panda barbs. It was completely unexpected, neither of the females were showing any signs of sickness.
I'm not sure if it was Penny, or Chip. I can't tell by the dead body, and the survivor is hiding. I'll assume the survivor is Penny.

My female tiger barb with the broken stripe healed up! Her eye and the open sore on her side are both better. Now I have to get her fins healed up and she needs to start eating, and she'll be good to go. The other female tiger is still sick, but her eyes are getting better. She might actually make it.
Hm.

This whole plague was awful.
Ugh.
Note to self: Never again get fish that aren't barbs without quarantining. Ever.

So today I got some new additions to the family!
I picked up a Algae Eater who I named AJ, and I don't know how many snails. Walmart didn't order the snails, so they are just giving them away for free. I have been watching them constantly, and they don't seem to be hurting the fish. I named three of my snails. I have a really one who from what I can tell has a sandy shell with the middle being cream and darker brown spots who I named Abu, and a larger one with a brown swirled shell who I am calling Genie. (They went in with Aladdin). I also put one in with my other betta, Fezz. That one has a pearl white shell with small black flecks on it. I call her Christmas. (Whovians will understand the horrible thing I have done)

And yesterday, when I was releasing a Tiger Salamander that fell down my window well, I glanced into the pond to see small fish darting around! My Koi and goldfish managed to give birth to at least 12 babies! I have 11 stone grey ones, and one random little orange and black one!

Yay! Wait- so the goldfish bred with the koi? Or they each had their own little babies. I hope they all grow up!

Hello Everyone!
Yesterday I came home to find new fish in my tank! My Grandparents got them for me and they are GORGEOUS.
Previously I only had 2 neons (They're still alive ) but know I have 11 fish.
I got...
1 Male Black Mollie
2 Male Sunrise Tequila Guppies (They have so blue patches near their tails though...)
2 Male and Female Mickey Mouse Platys.
2 Corys (One is Albino and one is Brown speckled looking. The Brown one (Speckle) has an odd shaped tail. I think at one point it was injured and never healed correctly.)
2 Unknown fish (I don't know what they are. My grandparents forgot the name of the breed but they are safe with the other fish. One of them is blind in both eyes. It looks like from an Ammonia burn.)
I love my corys! Would it be safe to feed them cucumber?

Well, I don't honestly know. Most of them have the Koi body shape, however I don't have any koi that look like the little orange and black one.... Right now they are all between an inch to four inches long!

Yes, I had them in a school of five before. The pet stores,nearby don't take care of their Neons very well and you have to wait for a good batch.
