the time has come for a
r e v o l u t i o n

The Wolves of the Night, or, just the Night Pack, live among the evergreen forest with fresh, clean creeks running through the woods, pine needles coating the forest's rich soil, prey thriving among the trees. Many years ago, the Night Pack dominated the earlier wolf pack that inhabit ayes the forest and claimed the territory as their own. Decades later, the Night Pack still lives in the forest, respected by every other creature in the forest. For they are wise, kind, strong, and clever, and keep peace among the woods and their pack.
Yet these wolves do not do as good in "keeping peace" as they think they. They've always treated their Omegas like scum, like the Omegas aren't even wolves. They are starting to force lone wolves, and even the stray fox or coyote out of the forest they once promised they would share with everyone. The Alpha treats everyone in the Night Pack equally, except for the Omegas, seeing them as wolves that deserve to be punished for whatever reason.
And the Omegas and loners are sick of this treatment. 3 Omegas run away from the Night Pack to form their own pack- the Star Pack, where there are no Omegas and the theme is that everyone is treated equally.
Though the alpha of the Night Pack is nowhere near happy with this arrangement, he/she does let it go, for he/she does not want war on his paws. Yet he/she stops looking for peace when the Star Pack announce that they want to live in the evergreen forest.
War erupts, families and mates torn apart, siblings fighting each other tooth-and-claw over divided loyalties.

However, if you want, say, a forest fire or an earthquake or hurricane or a huge battle to happen, you have to ask me first. But a small fight over the border with 2 or 3 wolves involved. But a huge, everyone in the pack vs everyone in the pack... You've got to ask me first.

eleven;; Not really a rule, but a note about Alphas- the Alpha of the Night Pack is kind wise and strong. It's just that he/she doesn't treat the Omegas very kindly.
twelve;; Only one high rank per person. High ranks are leaders/betas/alphas/lead hunter/lead fighter.
thirteen;; Reservations last one day unless you have a reason why it should be extended longer. Please PM me for reservations.

Winter has arrives, and with it, a ferocious blizzard- it has just hit the edge of Night Pack's territory and is creeping its way along toward the unsuspecting Star Pack.

t e r r i t o r y

The Night Pack lives in the evergreen forest. There is little undergrowth, the forest floor is covered in pine needles. The Night Pack resides in the center, where there is a shallow dip in the ground. The Alphas' den is underneath the ancient tree, where there is a gap in the roots and they can climb through. The medic's den is under two boulders leaning against each other, and there is enough space for herbs and several other wolves to lay. The hunters and fighters sleep under a grove of young hemlocks growing closely together, while the mothers and pups reside beneath another boulder which leans outward, sort of like a lean-to. The Omegas sleep in the open.


The Star Pack lives on the outskirts of the evergreen forest, where it is rocky and there is little grass and little water. There are several rocks which they sleep under to shelter them from the rain. There is no assigned dens yet, for they have just been made.

The Star Pack is planning an attack (to be more specific, an ambush) on the Night Pack, as a fight over who gets the evergreen forest! I will post when it happens and I hope you'll be able to join us in the battle!

The wolves of the Night pack are kinder to wolves that do not belong in their tribe, and only fight in self-defense, and are amicable enough. They try to keep peace among the forest. Really, their biggest flaw is that they don't treat Omegas kindly- and most wolf packs do that. Items just that in this case, the Omegas took a stand for themselves. The Night Pack is a normal, typical wolf pack. Its Omegas are not normal and typical- they are rebellious and decided to make a pack of their own.

These rules are breakable.

one;; Respect all higher ranks above you. The only exceptions are pups and mothers.
two;; Obey the Alphas without question.
three;; Do not fight among the pack.
four;; Alphas eat first, Omegas eat last.
five;; Once an Omega, always an Omega.
six;; A wolf becomes an Omega if they have challenged the Alpha and/or is unable to help the pack.
seven;; Any wolf or creature that is not a part of the pack is not allowed on Night Pack territory.
eight;; Friendly contact with any wolf or creature that is not a part of the Night Pack is forbidden.
nine;; Do not attack another wolf unless they attack you. Only fight in self-defense.

The wolves in the Star Pack are kinder to one another, but much more vicious to wolves that do not belong in their pack. They hate the Night Pack and will attack a Night Pack wolf, even if they haven't crossed the border into their hopefully-temporary home.

personality;; Stella is fierce wolf, not somebody you want to mess around with. She is fiercely loyal, cunning, and will do whatever it takes to protect her pack. She is fast and agile, though not particularly strong. She is short-tempered, though, and extremely independent and proud, she is unwilling to accept help of any kind. She is harsh to those who are not in her pack, and is not afraid to fight, though she has made the mistake of attacking an innocent. She jumps to conclusions, and is a little cocky. However, she usually makes good discussions for the pack, which is probably what achieved her the rank of female leader. Stella is also a good leader and is capable of deciding things on her own.
history;; Stella was originally a lone wolf. As a pup she was injured, for she had wandered away from her mothers den while her mother was out hunting, and she got lost and hurt after being attacked by a coyote. She was raised in the Night Pack and was a fighter, but after she challenged the Alpha over the treatment of Omegas, and her punishment was becoming an Omega herself. After three years of life as an Omega she was fed up with it and ran away to the Star Pack, where after another year she had become a leader.

He's funny and kind and caring, though has no physical ability whatsoever. He's stubborn and extremely gullible, while he's also extremely loyal. He hates fighting, though, and will avoid spilling blood at all costs- he finds it very hard to inflict pain on others.
history;; Nox was born with a disability- his front left leg is twisted, and he holds it uselessly and does the awkward three-legged-walk everywhere. When he was two years old he was allowed to try and be a fighter, but he failed dismally and was forced to become an Omega.

personality;; Astra is- er- outgoing. Stubborn, she can be exceptionally hard to work with. She's very gullible, too, she's easily irritated and a bit short tempered. Astra has always wanted the position of Lead Hunter, so she is a little edgy around Asolio. During a battle or hunting, Astra is very fierce and has trouble restraining herself from going after others. She's especially fierce about food, both hunting and eating it, and does not believe in this concept called "sharing". Astra is clever, on the bright side, fiercely loyal to her friends, and funny... Sometimes. She does like to joke around, even if it's at other wolves' expenses. But she has good intentions... Usually.
history;; Astra was born into the Night Pack, a fiesty pup who liked to sneak up on the other wolves (both pups and adults) and pounce on them. She obtained the position of hunter after out of pup hood (is that even a word?) and slowly became better at hunting. She's still aiming for the position of Lead Hunter.

personality;; Oli doesn't look for trouble- trouble looks for her. As a younger wolf Asolio was known for her ways of easily getting into trouble. Usually she got away with it, from her brains and slyness. Oli is clever and daring, always taking chances and is extremely loyal to those she trusts. Don't stand in her way- Oli is both a good hunter and fighter.
history;; At first Asolio was a good pup, always doing as Mommy says. Eventually she grew and started getting into trouble, and eventually learned how to get out of it. Oli grew up as a very valued hunter, and finally became lead hunter after much work.
