Jaypaw let out a sigh with relief that she got it right. "Okay." She said and nodded as she scent the air again to find the scent trail. After a bit she didn't and dropped down into a hunters crouch even though she hasn't gone anywhere yet. She just found it easier to stalk her prey like this. Slowly and carefully she went off following the scent trail slowly.

Dewsong yawned and stretched out her long limbs into the moss bed residing beside her. The majority of the warriors den had been cleared by now as the sun rose a few hours ago. She had awoke a time or two before, but enjoying the warmth and peace of her den the she-cat decided to rest a little while longer. Now as she blinked open her eyes once more she noticed the considerable absence of her fellow clan members. Getting up slowly Dewsong padded out into the sunshine while shaking bits of moss from her long fur. Stopping in a particularly warm patch of sun the she-cat began cleaning out any dirt that was tucked away inside her pelt all the while looking for her apprentice. She hadn't seen the tom in awhile and figured it was high time she took the young cat out for a little hunting exercise. Perking up at the idea Dewsong thought of all the opportunities she had to show off in front of her apprentice to show him just how capable she was.

Glancing around her the beautiful she-cat dully noted the absence of the majority of her clan mates. They must all be out hunting. Dewsong thought to herself. After sweeping the last bit of moss from her silver fur Dewsong got up and sauntered over towards the apprentice's den. Poking her head through she meowed a greeting to whoever was listening. "Bumblepaw if you're in here it's time to go hunting again." Her voice was velvety and sweet even after not using it for a whole night. Swinging her head back out of the den Dewsong let her amber eyes adjust to the brightness of sunhigh and tried to ignore the rumbling in her stomach.

Though she tended to be a selfish cat she liked to catch a little something before gobbling down any sort of prey in the morning; if only to show others her worth. Sitting outside the apprentice den Dewsong waited patiently for her apprentice to appear.
