Cira blinked, "Why what?" She asked curiously.

"Why am I your friend?" Reuben asked as he looked at her, studying her.

Cira sat down and thought about it, "Well your different" She said, "Your kind in your own way, and your very fun to talk with, you are my friend and I hope I can be yours" She said.

Reuben blinked, he was confused, he sat down silently. He sighed softly, "I am sorry Cira." he said.

"Sorry for what?" Cira asked casting a confused look on her face.

Reuben sighed, "I ran from you, I left you." he said, his ears back. He was a horrible friend.

"That's alright" Cira said softly she smiled gently, she really didn't mind at all.

Reuben looked at her, "You really are a good friend Cira." he said as he studied her, he had began to trust her.

Cira smiled softly, "I am glad" She said, she did try hard to be a good friend, she liked it when others were happy.
