Monty tightly grabbed Kade's hand, rubbing small circles into it with his thumb, knowing it usually calms him down. He leans in slightly and quietly whispers,
"You should wear a suit more often," You'd never guess by the way he looked that Monty rarely smiled without Kade there. He seemed to alleviate the pressure of everyone staring up at him. Monty stared up at his taller almost-husband, relaxing a bit at the hand against his cheek. As the preacher started, he paid close mind to the what was said, waiting anxiously for his cues and mentally preparing himself to speak, paying mind to remember to speak in a clear voice.

.: Shawn, feeling a bit shy in an unfamiliar crowd, picks a seat nearby Isaac and Orrick. She nods at Isaac's question, noticing how Monty seems quite nervous. Shawn knew that he had nothing to be nervous over, despite it being normal, and smiled in sympathy for the guy. Shawn caught a glimpse of Sunni, and gently squeezed the necklace she was holding on to, hoping inside that Sunni would like it. Setting her hands on her lap, she watched the beautiful wedding take place. :.

Kade smiled at Monty'd comment, and wouldn't have returned it if not for the fact he couldn't see Monty regardless of what he wore. Instead he listened closely to the man preaching over them, waiting for his part to take place.
"And now, Kade, place the ring on your partners hand and recite your vows."
Kade reached behind him and reached out his had to Sunni, feeling the cool metal against his hand as he took the wrong from her. Turning back to his lover he gently took Monty's hand into his own, beginning to speak as he slipped the ring onto Monty's finger," Monty, I can honestly say that I would have never expected myself to be standing here today, not with you, not with anyone. All my life, I was ignorant to what it meant to cherish someone, I though love was just some kind of sickness I was trying desperately not to catch. But then I meet you, and well, it's pretty obvious my mind has been changed. I don't know if we're really some kinda star crossed lovers, I wouldn't call us to halves of the same whole or even two people in one heart. I don't know if you and I are a destined pair or just a draw of chance. But if there is such a thing as soul mates, I guess mine will just have to find happiness with someone else. Even if fate had suited me for someone else, I chose you. I want to be with you, I want to be in love with you, I am in love with you. I want us to be together, even if its not something like destiny, I won't ever stop pulling you closer to me. If our parts don't fit smoothly thats fine, we can find ways to over come our obstacles together from this day forward. I love you, I value you, I adore you, you are my most fierce passion. Be with me, for as long as we both shall live, and let me show you everyday just how much you mean to me, my heart."
Kade reached out and gently stroked Monty's cheek, resisting the urge to kiss him before it was time to do so. The preacher nodded and turned to Monty now," Now Monty, place the ring on your partners hand and recite your vows."

Just as Kade had done, Monty reached behind him and waited for Chase to put the ring in his hand. Once there, he grabbed Kade's hand, sliding the ring in place on the right finger. He smiled before taking a deep breath,
"I don't know how you expect me to top those vows. Before I met you, I didn't even consider the possibility of marriage. You know I'm not exactly the best at making friends... hell the best man is my employee. Yes I may have engaged to someone who isn't alive anymore I think it's obvious that I've moved on. Whether you're my soul mate or she was, I'm just really glad I didn't let you sleep on the street. I know you love me Kade. I know because you don't want me for the way I look or certainly not for what I do. You want me for me, which is not what a lot of others would say. The only regret I have is that I didn't propose to you first," He squeezed Kade's hand as he spoke, seeming to ignore everyone else in the audience and just focusing on his lover.

Kade smiled gently, finding the urge to kiss Monty almost painful. He wanted so much for this part to be over so he could wrap himself around his soon-to-be-husband and lock lips with him till his hearts content.
"Do you, Kaden Lance, take this man, Monty Sullivan, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do." Kade squeezed Monty's hand as he spoke.
"And do you, Monty Sullivan, take this man, Kaden Lance, to have and to hold, in sickness and in heath, as long as you both shall live?"

Monty's smile widened, although he knew his lover couldn't actually see it, as he heard the words "I do". It was as if he completely forgot his lack of childhood and the sorrow of losing someone he cared about, almost as if he completely forgot about the crowd of people staring at him and waiting in anticipation for the ceremony to be over so they could all go stuff their face with food. Monty gently squeezed Kade's hand back, rubbing his finger over the other's ring.
"I do."
