Ashstar sends out hunting and border patrol. A rouge was scented on territory. Fallenstep goes fishing with Wolfclaw. They both sense the rouge. Ashstar goes out herb collecting with Honeydew. Honeydew fell in a hole, ashstar struggles to free her. After getting honey, ashstar is chased by a swarm of bees, then troops over a root. He is helpless as bees attack him. Honeydew is able to take him back to her den and treat him. Fallenstep is attacked by a rouge. Ashstar and honeydew confess their love for eachother. Snowfall over hears and tells pebblestep. Ashstar receives a prophecy. Pebblestep becomes deputy and the rouge follows Ashfire to camp. After the rouge barges into camp, Ashfire pins her down while pebblestep asks her questions. Eventually ashstar breaks in and studies her. Aurora becomes a apprentice after being tested by ashstar. Littlepaw finds Wolfclaw injuried by a badger. She brings her back to camp. Darkfall and snowfall get in a fight. Berrypool and pebblestep become mates. Honeydew takes ashstar to the river to treat his bee stings. Ashfire and Wolfclaw fall in love. Ashstar becomes honeydew's mate.

h i s t o r y ;; he was named Ashkit because he was born after a forest fire ripped through his home, killing his father. He and his two younger sisters, Fallenkit and Winterkit grew very close. A few moons after he and his sisters became apprentices, Winterpaw and his mother Amberbreeze died from green cough. They later became warriors and once the deputy retired, he became the clans next deputy. After the previous leader died from a mysterious illness, he became ashstar and has been serving his clan ever since.

She never got over the death of her family but she cheered up after her brother was made deputy and eventually leader. Today, she doesn't talk much about her past.

h i s t o r y ;; She was born in leaf bare and her other littermates were still born. She was very weak atfirst and her mother was afraid she wouldn't make it. She never knew her father for he died several moons before her birth. Her mother seemed to be a little over protective about her kit and she never let littlekit out of her sight. She was often teased by the other kits but it didn't seem to bother her much. After she became an apprentice, her mother disappeared.
